Telomeres is one of my fav song period
2:31 it’s an old jazz/progressive technique. Idk the theoretical name for it, but we called it jumping across the tempo. It starts on 1 and 2, then to 4 and 1, then 3 and 4, then 2 and 3, then 1,2,3,4 bringing it back full circle. It’s tricky to explain but once you can count it you realize how genius it is.

Calcutta is one of my favourite songs of theirs, but it has always had this odd uncomfortable effect on me while listening, but at the same time I can't stop listening and I want to hear more. It's such a strange feeling.
