Nice video... good memories! My dad was Free State and I was Northern Transvaal. So many arguments... in a good way...my dad hate Naas Botha and his drop goals and the ref was always against the Free State no matter who they play! Free State's backline was dangerous though.

Free State Rugby at its best! They play such an attractive game of rugby. They smashed all the so called "big" South African sides in the Currie Cup last year. They made the Bulls, Lions, Sharks and WP look like amateurs. I hope the Currie Cup will take place this year so that the Free State Cheetahs can humiliate them again.
Do you perhaps have highlights of the 1983 Lion Cup Final between OFS and Transvaal played in September of 1983? I remember a memorable try by Freestate Centre Zillen Roos. I would love to see that try again, but so far any searches for that match came up empty handed. Hopefully you can help?
