The original ‘singer’ for God ish is actually Hatsune Miku, vocaloid software, to provide a little context to why it seemed like it was less expressive than what Ado puts into the cover.

The "original singer" for God-ish wasn't a person at all. It was actually a vocal synthesizer program called Vocaloid. You were listening to a computer the whole time. Clearly PinocchioP did a good job if you thought it was a real person haha. You should listen to some more songs by PinocchioP if you're interested, he has tons of cool stuff. There's lots of other vocaloid producers like him you should react to as well.

Ado has said God-ish required multiple clips of her singing it combined, she can't switch her voice so much that fast, still her range is remarkable!
Given her rapid growth of her vocal range even in the past year it wouldn't surprise me in the least if she COULD swap it that quickly by the time she's 28 or 30.
Yes, Sheena Ringo is absolutely a big influence on Ado. In fact, Sheena Ringo wrote a song for Ado for the movie Karada Sagashi.

most of ado's covers are vocaloid songs (like god-ish) so if you listen to original before her covers, then you'll notice that they were a little bit less expressive since the ones singing isn't a real human but a voice synthesizer called Hatsune Miku.

Ado is amazing, unique and very expressive in her music interpretations. She is the best ❤
The p at the end of Pinocchio stands for producer, this is something a lot of producers used to add to their name as an indicator
I feel like ado just kind of...breaks the rules of what people follow with conventional singing. The first time you hear one of her songs its literally IMPOSSIBLE to tell where youll end up. She has so much emotion and versatility, soul, power...and at such a young age she has mastery over her vocals that most singers with YEARS of professional training can rarely showcase.
I HIGHLY recommend you to try songs like Readymade, Ussewa or Gira Gira from Ado! The translated subtitles give these songs a whole new world of meaning.

i know Sheena Ringo from Ado, im curious why she adored Sheena Ringo so much. after im listening Sheena Ringo song and her performance in stage, damn. now i know why Ado like Sheena Ringo.
Ado's Crime and Punishment cover is good, her style is have more anger and emotional. but Sheena Ringo style is sexy and idk its so good. especially when she makes it in jazz style

I just received my copy of her live released this week and she sings Crimne & Punishment at the encore. I will only say it's a must watch that interpretion, really must!

For God-ish, I feel like Ado was just flexing the whole song. The constant tonal changes to make it sound like an entire group was singing and not one person. Talk about FLEXING.

Ado is very talented, but her version is disruptive due to all the changes in pitch and volume, making it difficult to listen to at times (depending on your mood of course).
Well, its just a showcase how versatile she is .
