Dolly started doing live radio when she was 10 years old, she became so used to continuing on in a live performance situation, if she messes up, she laughs, jokes about it, and carries on, which has made her an amazing awards show host as well. She stepped on Kenny's foot which is why she said Excuse me Kenny.
Kenny and Dolly did a few songs together. They also did a bunch of Christmas specials each year that were special TV events and really propelling them into mainstream and making them household names. When I was a small child, I thought they were married as their chemistry was so great. Their original Christmas songs were fun too. We still watch old specials on youtube during the holiday season.

The guitar work has a lot of almost country music sound. It's a very underrated track from that album as is his other track on thisxalbum titled , I Don't Have To Hide. You mentioned the fact your mind is blown. Bachman Turner Overdrive did a song called Blown on their second album in 1973. The vocal on this one was done by Randy Bachmans brother Tim. The guitar work has a lot of almost country music sound. It's a very underrated track from that album as is his other track on thisxalbum titled , I Don't Have To Hide. could it be that you recognize the writings of the BeeGees? They wrote it and also recorded it.
In the early 80s, the Bee Gees were finding that their seminal 70s harmonies weren’t landing the way they used to, since disco was slowly dying. In order to make use of those changes, the group decided to write for other genres (especially country).
Barry, Robin, and Maurice Gibb originally intended “Islands in the Stream” as a "rhythm & blues" track for Marvin Gaye. However, it soon turned into a country/pop crossover. The lyrics of the song were inspired by Ernest Hemingway’s novel of the same name.
