Agent_k85 Jesus should be the reason you're a changed man today, not some phony Hip Hop artist who claims to be a Christian. Lecrae is lost in the fame and displaying a world-positive message instead of the direct gospel.
g59 maya Matthew 7:1... are you judging him or are you praying that the enemy doesn't consume him? It's easy for us to cast judgment instead of praying. Obviously you no nothing about Jesus with that ridiculous comment. Even when I was converted to Christ I was still listening to rap music. I prayed for God to give me a new sound of music and out the blue someone played one of his songs and I immediately tossed all of my secular music. So he played a part in my change. Go back and study Jesus for real because I can tell you don't know nothing about praying for others.
There's a lot of dope lyricists who don't get these type of platforms. Gotta salute those that get the chance to show its still some real spitters out here that's not on the radio 24/7
it doesnt sound like he's growing if he's back tracking on being a christian rapper. If u preach the gospel then you are a preacher. if u rap the gospel then you should be a christian rapper. the bible says come out from among them and be ye separated. He is trying to blend in with chance and kendrick lamar.....lol...smh
Charlene Nash 👋🏾 ,I was at his concert a few months ago. Lecrae performed 2 new songs from his album which aren't out yet. It's on my channel if anyone is interested.
Erica A listen to his music it's the first time Ive heard music with a Christian message that is as good as any secular artist and he doesn't beat people over the head with faith
This was great. This is the most comfortable that I've seen Lecrae on this type of interview. It seems like he believes what he believes and there's freedom and what seems to be authenticity. It's pleasant to see him surviving the journey in finding himself as an artist and influencer.
One thing I respect the most is that Lecrae doesn't look down on anyone. He's faithful to what he believes in even when he switch up his flow. He's a man of God who spreads nothing but positivity. He's not pressuring people to be godly or anything like him at all, instead, he just trying to be an inspiration to humanity. He represents hope. Out of all rap artist, he's personally the most respectable.
I just read his book "Unashamed". I loved it. It was well written and I appreciate how he didn't hold back anything. It is a great book you should check it out if you haven't already.
My peoples! There are Christian athletes, first responders, teachers, actors, etc but they don't go around saying "Hi, imma a Christian so and so." It's a label that too many shouldn't even use. We are FOLLOWERS OF CHRIST. There are prideful christians and even racist christians in the mix too. We serve an awesome GOD. It's like labeling people by there color. Black rapper. White rapper. Rapper. Black pastor. White pastor. Pastor.
dang man, I remember when. I first got saved and this man's music ministered to me so much. I can't believe the stuff this coming out of his mouth these. just can't belive it.
I feel the same way God used his music to help me maintain my faith in a rough time honestly No matter how much others might over analyze and disagree even using the bible lol
Gerald Bivins Hold up. Ain't you the same dude writing dissertations in the comment section about Lecrae not wanting to be labeled a Christian as though you are Christ himself, but yet you on here trying to spit game to a woman and giving out your phone number as though you are soliciting yourself. I knew you was a hypocrite. It's usually you Bible thumpers that be the biggest hypocrites. Quick to throw stones when you know you living foul. Trying to condemn Lecrae to hell because he doesn't want to be labeled a Christian rapper, but you probably watch porn, masturbate, and fornicate, just to name a few. SMH!
I have never seen this guy, but this was a GREAT interview. I really needed to hear his words on faith to recharge my own batteries. I will definitely look into his music and book. Such a humble guy.
Good to see they got Lecrae up here...I'm glad that he doesn't box himself in & doesn't classify himself as a Christian rapper, he just makes straight up clean, political socially conscious hip hop & at the same time giving God the glory #salute 👍🏽 Love Angie's sweater too btw 👌🏽🔥
What a great interview man. I really love people like Lecrae because he's just like me. I hate when people always try to put you in a box when it comes to politics, culture, etc. God Himself is someone that can't be put in a box, and we're made in His image.
"I'm not a Christian because I'm perfect, I'm a Christian because I've been forgiven." How did he sale his soul again? LOL Yall are backwards with these comments! How much more Christian can you get? LOL
Every one who criticizes him acts like y'all have never fallen off before. He's sold out? Please go ahead and pray for yourself instead. Take a second to look at your mistakes and the depth of your sin, and deal with your issues first. Hopefully in the process you'll encounter a loving God who forgives. How do you expect us believer to reach out to those who are lost if we're too comfortable in our church pews? No we need to step out of our comfort zone and spread the love of God!
Homie a Realone. I appreciate my dude's awareness & ability to keep it relate-able. I heard about him before this interview and Even heard dope music from him before..But this Interview made me a FAN!

wtf is wrong with you , people of color or white or whatever their color is .who cares man .you r hypocrite you trynna send a positive message but still labeling people wtf
Abdel Ech cherrar I think the message behind this was simply to shotout and encourage his own race for the day. Nothing against any other races. Black is what we are and it's okay to be proud of it.
I love Lecrae!! He is the realest person ever! He is so awesome!! His music really has changed my life in so many ways. When I listen to his music it just makes me wanna be a better person as cheesy as that sounds..
I've been a fan of Crae since 2005 and still, I wish he'd just go ahead and address that his music was highly involved in Christianity and that his content has taken a turn. It's okay, it just seems like he's hiding so much
He says his "Faith" is what he displayed in his music. A true Crae fan knows the TRUTH and to say he's hiding so much is an understatement. That same Faith also says All liars shall see the lake of fire. I love Lecrae as my brother and he Not being truthful. No we didn't label you Christian Lecrae, you did. You labeled yourself a christian artist. That was your target, christianity followers. You put yourself in the music category of christian/christianity not us. You are so right there are consequences for everything we do and you better believe for the lies you told as well.

Agent_k85 his music?
Agent_k85 but you still don't take care of your son
Me too far he was the first artist i heard once i gave my life to christ
Agent_k85 Jesus should be the reason you're a changed man today, not some phony Hip Hop artist who claims to be a Christian. Lecrae is lost in the fame and displaying a world-positive message instead of the direct gospel.

Lecrae is dope man. We needa collab w kdot for his new album
I Love that he is genuine with stickibg to his opinions about certain things and doesn't answer and agree with popular opinions.
I've been a fan of Crae since 2005 and still, I wish he'd just go ahead and address that his music was highly involved in Christianity and that his content has taken a turn. It's okay, it just seems like he's hiding so much
Aye_Jones FKA Marvel_Jones Check out his book. He does address that.
Aye_Jones FKA Marvel_Jones he did that in the book
He did change man it's getting to him
He says his "Faith" is what he displayed in his music.

This man is a blessing he inspired me to get saved this year I fr hope you the best ✊
I understand him not wanting to get attached to exclusive labels or even pushing labels ( anybody can listen to and possibly relate to this hip-hop ). However, he should not be offended by the title of 'Christian artist'...thats people recognizing his hip-hop has positive spiritual content.
AmaFaith read my post at the top
People will outside of Christian faith would immediately not listen to him because he's Christian rapper. Since it's hip hop Label people outside faith would listen unknowningly get blessed with the word without them knowing, that's the mission
AmaFaith I don't think he's offended.. I think he want others who aren't Christian to be closed off to listening to him because he is Christian
AmaFaith: Why are we so afraid to embrace our identity as people of God? If the LGBTQI community, political activists and fanatical sports folks can do it, then why can't we proudly yet humbly stand for Christ and make it known who we are and whose we are? IJS... just my humble opinion.
Charles McKinney he is a Christian. Let it go. He doesn't want labels because people confine you to the label. And he can't do anything outside that label. So it makes sense. He's still a Christian he just doesn't want his music labeled as Christians. Then Christians would get mad if he's too woke And non Christians wouldn't want to listen to him because he's Christian
Awesome interview!!!! Cant wait for his next album. He is still relevant each day #Lecrae

Stop it with the new angles. Keep it basic with the classic view.
Luna Tekle I don't mind. I barely know how the room looks lol
If they would use the rule of thirds better, it would be visually appealing.
Luna Tekle I was just about to say this!! I don't like these new camera angles!
that's the revolt TV angles
They should know better. You film at eye level, and if that can't be achieved dont do it at all.
