We need to change our mindset! We get dressed and set for hours at concerts, movies and whatever else but we can't seat that long to fellowship and praise God! He has blessed us with everything we need and want so why can't we give God our time once a week!

I understand both sides. Not being there all day....like I was raised. But I also understand being there for as long as the Spirit dwells. I do think we shortcut God and our time. Like it's just once a week for most people ...and you can't spend 2-3 hours a week in worship with others.

We give our 9 to 5 8hrs of our time 5 days a week sometimes even 6 days we get 1 day to worship God for a couple hrs & yet we complain, ever stop to think why you can't receive your blessings yet that you've been praying for? Just saying. God Bless 🙏🏽

Faaaaaacts! Of course not just being there in vain, but not placing limitations on God and want He wants to do during the service. Ppl need deliverance and that don't always happen in 5 minutes. We gotta stop having microwave expectations when people's souls at stake

I pray this becomes so fruitful as many need to hear this. I pray that the enemy will not be able to use that 30 second clip to draw people away from God’s True and authentic churches but push people into getting to know Christ and into deeper relationship with Him. The real healing is in JESUS CHRIST. Everything else is a resource.

    • @djmitchell3464
      @djmitchell3464 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

Unfortunately that was one of the many contradicting things he said even though it sounded good but it's not about sounding good but getting the truth out. Tye knows the real truth but his childhood stills keep him from expressing it 100% because he benefits from religious folk and staying and saying the right things just to please ppl. It doesn't matter who truth offends, it only heals and frees you. Tye held back as most religious folks do after they know God ain't church and everything they thought was God ain't but still chooses to take part of the religious system. You can't say God ain't church but still part take and defend it. G0d is within everyone and in everything so when he said he rather the source than the resources that's a contradiction because the resource is from source. So he put into context that he rather Jesus Christ over anything else that may help him but God is in everything that can help you Christ consciousness. That's why dude said well I believe in plant base, therapy, reiki, etc because all of it is God. This is how I know he don't really know God or he's just not saying it. This concept that Jesus is the only way is a lie and even Jesus said he can do nothing for you only the father which is not a literal man. God is in your mind and only if your eye be single your body will be filled with light strait is the gate and narrow is the way and few will find it. Jesus also said we throw away the key of knowledge of experiencing God because we inner not into ourselves. Be still and know that I AM God, God is the I AM. Just think about that. The only way to find and experience God is by meditation and once you perfect that then and only then will you know God. No more faith or believing. You can't teach or explain that experience either and if folks are trying to teach you the way that's called religion and this why it's churches today. They are teaching God but they lost because you can't teach it. Blind leading the blind and our ppl parish for the lack of knowledge. Ppl try to separate knowledge and God but they are one In the same once you experience it.

@djmitchell3464 when you walk in the knowledge and truth in who you are in Christ, meaning finding out what you were placed on this earth for, your purpose..not a thought, not feelings, not logic, not your personal truth, then you will understand the statement stated. Breakfast Club is soooooo much better with Jess! This was THE best show to date in my opinion and not because they had a gospel artist/pastor on the show. It was because THEY were not afraid to talk about GOD on their platform on this show. A show that millions of people listen to. Pastor Mike Jr made a comment on his IG about what Tye said about the church being wack. I “ran” to YT to watch this interview. I respect EVERYTHING #TyeTribbett said. 100%!!! Pastor Mike Jr should’ve listened to the whole show instead of that particular part. He definitely took it out of context.

The reasons for the long Church Service was back during Slavery that was the safe place to meet, time they planned escapes, the time to worship and feel the presence of God without slave masters beating them. That’s where they came up with songs like Wade in the water, which is the songs that had secret meanings of which way to go on escapes. We take these things for granted because other races and religions all think we worship more deeply than they do!!

    • @mooreflava

You can tell Tye walks in truth. Not a lot of pastors or Christian’s are wise enough to ask questions. They project without understanding of one another. This interview was easy because he gave up his mic for the people to speak. Jesus asked many questions while he was amongst us in human form and this part of how we should evangelize. One of my favorite interviews thus far.

Yes! One of the best interviews! It’s refreshing to see someone representing God on the Breakfast Club. And not someone that’s considered “too churchy”. He’s just REAL and AUTHENTIC! Not like these IG pastors.

Wonderful interview. Thank you Tye for being REAL, TRANSPARENT, POSITIVE. Having grown up in church I definitely feel what you all have said. So much pomp and circumstance and not enough of what the intention really is. We are in this world for a reason. We should show up with intention and honesty EVERY DAY. People are blessed because of your ability to be REAL. Thank you Breakfast Club for keeping it REAL!

Ilove how Jess towards the end of the conversation stood firmly on what she thought about them swag surfing in the church, because ifelt the same way, the House of God should remain sacred, if you gone do that, do it outside the church, respect the House of God and keep it sacred. Ilove how she didn't let nobody try and change up her feelings towards that and stood firmly on what she said. ❤❤❤ and ilove Tye Tribbett, amazing guy, love his music and his spirit.

I love Tye and I got a chance to work with him back in day. This interview was insightful, but an opportunity was missed for him to minister to the hosts. Yes online is good but We must assemble amongst the saints! Iron sharpens Iron. We draw strength one from another We are called to minster one to another. Yes we are called to be the church as in letting our light shine before men to draw others to christ and reach beyond the four walls of the church. Structured church becomes "Wack" when you do everything in it but glorify God.

I think the Tye Tribbett interview went over a lot of peoples heads. I watched the entire interview, and It was a fantastic! Religious people will be offended. People don’t want to hear about God no more they want to see God through you in actions, behaviors and deeds. It wasn’t about attacking the church. If you got offended, then you might be dealing with a religious spirit. No judgment, just encouragement.
“We got to change and challenge what’s in us?”-Tye Tribett

This interview was uplifting and funny. I love how everyone really listened and was able to get their points across.
I think one of the main things that helps “church” to work is actually connecting with people in the week - socially/small group studies/prayer meetings.
If you only see people once in a while or only connect once a week you will naturally feel disconnected.

Watching online is great and convenient but we must have a covenant relationship with a body of believers (a church) to do ministry together.
