Played against bots every day every single day with 2 different snipers locus: 200 kills maybe 250 if I'm in the mood and atleast 300-400 kills with the paladin maybe a lil 100 kills with the koshka and I still dont feel better than last week I started improving at first than my progress suddenly stop still use this method now

Sniping in BO4 is the worst experience that any CoD has had literally hitmarker after hitmarker, flinch is insane and they are out classed by other weapons at every range
Like the video is good dont get me wrong, but they need to fix snipers by either adding a bit of aim assist or just reducing flinch cause there have been times that i know my sight was on them i get shot once and my aim goes to the moon and then i miss and am not able to even get a second bullet off even if i hit them

Scatt’s school of Sniping. I love it. The biggest thing that helped me is recruit Bots. Their sluggish enough that you can practice quick scoping or even no scoping. As you get that down, you can start to play more aggressive. Then take on 10 of them and just rush towards their spawn and this experience gives you confidence in a real pub match. Lightweight increases movement speed by 4%, an all time low in call of duty history. A virtually useless perk unless you can’t stand fall damage. Clear your perk 2 and secondary, run 4 attachments on your sniper with scavenger and ghost for best class setup. Love the vid.
OpTic Spratt my pleasure, idk how you drop 50 bombs in tdm with all the bs insta death in this game. Best I got is 30 qsing, because everytime I get my momentum up I get dive bomb super slammed by a ruin who flys across my screen like Batman. You’re insane.
Forget ghost, get dead silence instead. So many things turn off ghost it's not worth it. If you are sniping and opted for fmj2 then just delete the uavs, or any other scorestreak, instantly. Plus eith DS when you crouch acoustic sensor won't pick you up on the radar.
It doesn’t damage your hands or fingers, just makes them fucking hurt, a lot. I play on IPad games sometimes, and some of them need claw, it hurts a lot when you play too long

Who cares about your/my KD. I am running and gunning with a sniper and eventually I will get good. I have never had trouble snipping before but this game clearly killed the sniper. Not really sure why they went over-board with it. Pretty stupid but all the sub par smg and lmg players love it. Need to Buff all snipers.

When adjusting sensitivity, I find it easiest to jump and try to do a 360 and line up to where you started off at, this gives you more control over your games, as you are able to get shot from anywhere, and know exactly how fast you can turn, also you can hit trickshots more accurately.
Hey spratt do you use the tip of your thumb to aim or do you place your thumb flat on the stick? Im trying to study great console aimers and see If there’s a common factor. I’ve always placed my thumb flat on the stick and I think my aim is pretty good but your aim is insane so I’m wondering if technique affects aim

Unseen Balenci Slap on High Caliber 2. Hit markers are due to low aiming such as aiming for the chest or feet. High caliber 2 will give you a better advantage when aiming for the chest. Due to it being an attachment that adds more damage to the waist up.

Nah, I'd argue that dropshotting has its place in this game. It's honestly saved my life a couple times when I was too busy potato-ing my shots, letting me make it harder for my opponent to kill me while I got my shot back on point. It's just extremely situational, which is why you won't run into it very often

To help everyone else that I think spratt forgot to mention. If you are good or decent at sniping in bo3 you should be used to all the jumping and sliding. I definitely am used to it. Although it’s quite different but I was a beast at sniping in bo3. Never missed. But if you played bo3 you should be used to all the mental stuff. Very similar. Great vid. Really helped me out. Very helpful tips. You definitely need to be comfortable with your set up, I was having problems with being too tense while trying to snipe. Just relax and don't be afraid of failure. In one day, I went from going 2 kills to 17 deaths using the sniper, to getting consistent 1.5 to 2.0 KD in TDM.
Spratt, I’ve never really watched you mainly due to the fact that I’ve never really been super aggressive with a sniper, usually I’m a sub player, but for this game, I’ve been using the koshka and paladin a lot and being very aggressive with it. I’ve been watching a ton of your videos and have really been enjoying it. Only issue I have is in GBs using the paladin without high caliber, if you don’t aim high, it’s a hit marker, in a custom game, free for all, with some friends I had 33kills and over 10k damage.. 😭😂
Thank you for a full comprehensive video on sniping. I am like 4 videos in and this is the first that actually does it all. Ive seen people just tell you to go and practice, one that started off great with the loadouts but then didnt actually give any sniping advice. lol.

Maybe I’m wrong but I found laser sight on the koshka helped me to practice my centring, being able to see the crosshairs closer together helped my to make sure I had the enemy where I wanted, this might help other people who are struggling as well but maybe I’m wrong
I play with “the claw” and I can say that it’s pretty hard to get used to but it’s very helpful if you cannot afford a scuf controller or a controller with paddles but I recommend using a scuf controller over using the claw because it’s more comfortable
I love how all these gameplay clips from all these youtubers feature a majority of enemies that are low level and hasnt even prestige’d yet. Don’t worry, I know some of the vid is in custom games. Real challenging... nice vid
There's games I go ham but others that I can't hit anything. Maybe I just need to practice more. This video was actually very helpful and brought up a lot of points I didn't take into account. Thank you.
I always thought it was funny how they removed aim assist completely from snipers. Just to stop quickscoping but it just did the opposite. it's just faster and as accurate to quick scope then it is to hard scope or drag scope. I dont even enjoy sniping in cod anymore since I would use a variety of those styles. Just sucks how people bixth about it and the devs just got lazy and didn't offer a good fix.
On pc sniping is way different. Like if i play on a console i have way more time when i see an enemy he takes way longer than on pc to hit accurate shots on me. Like casuals on console are pretty slow compared to pc players.
Conor Jones depends on the time of day on pc imo but I don’t find it incredibly hard on pc but I guess it’s because I’ve played cod on pc since cod 4 days

The PC, and more specifically keyboard and mouse, reigns supreme because it is the muscle memory of your arm that dynamically accelerates the mouse while a controller is limited to a stick that must translate your intended adjustments crudely into 16 directions.

This video is really great for people just starting in the sniper catalogue. I normally play stick and move though so I never take my thump off the right stick. It helps a lot when I try to show off lol
Charles Tempest Good question I have been trying to test that theory on just bots and it seems like it depends on two or three things now this is just me I might be completely wrong I’m a horrible shot I was great on black ops two but this game is just made me look like a noob when it comes to sniping But if you’re close and you move a little bit you’ll get the shot eight times out of 10 But if I’m kind of far I have to be still almost completely to get it on one hit But the one thing that I’ve noticed is that if I move with my right thumb stick which is the one I look around with while I’m trying to aim or shoot no matter what I will not hit and it is so hard to get that To stop because it’s almost Instinctively for me to do that
I think it helps with the paladin, but when i use the koshka it seems like i can be flying through the air and strafing without much of an aim penalty.
Truly great informative video. I’ve struggled mightily on this game sniping after being a 1.40 sniper on ww2 (not the greatest I know) but I can say this video has helped out more than you could imagine
ThatGuyTobyPlayz Cause TH-camrs dont use Stabilizer. It slows down your Time between each shot Try it with it on then take it off and see the difference
One of the few sniper tips videos for this game that actually has some valuable tips LOL. If nothing else a good wealth of information. Although I have to say the S DM is my favorite sniper. However I am on PC and have a lot more control over my aim.

8:50 If people really think this game has a slow TTK, they need to go check out some Dirty Bomb gameplay. That game has a truly long TTK, where, unless you are chaining headshots its going to be around a second kill most chars, and a half a second if you can chain your headshots. That's if your aim is spot on (game has really accurate hipfire, so you just needed to have your aim and tracking on point).
Here is a quick explanation: 1. Hold L2 2. When there is a body in the middle of the cross do step 3 3. Shoot by pressing R2 4. Have a good day and insult your opponents

It’s probably you’re hitting your opponents in the legs or less critical spots or just don’t have any or no attachments

Very helpful tips. You definitely need to be comfortable with your set up, I was having problems with being too tense while trying to snipe. Just relax and don't be afraid of failure. In one day, I went from going 2 kills to 17 deaths using the sniper, to getting consistent 1.5 to 2.0 KD in TDM.
Spratt, I’ve never really watched you mainly due to the fact that I’ve never really been super aggressive with a sniper, usually I’m a sub player, but for this game, I’ve been using the koshka and paladin a lot and being very aggressive with it. I’ve been watching a ton of your videos and have really been enjoying it. Only issue I have is in GBs using the paladin without high caliber, if you don’t aim high, it’s a hit marker, in a custom game, free for all, with some friends I had 33kills and over 10k damage.. 😭😂

Maybe I’m wrong but I found laser sight on the koshka helped me to practice my centring, being able to see the crosshairs closer together helped my to make sure I had the enemy where I wanted, this might help other people who are struggling as well but maybe I’m wrong

I play with “the claw” and I can say that it’s pretty hard to get used to but it’s very helpful if you cannot afford a scuf controller or a controller with paddles but I recommend using a scuf controller over using the claw because it’s more comfortable

I always thought it was funny how they removed aim assist completely from snipers. Just to stop quickscoping but it just did the opposite. it's just faster and as accurate to quick scope then it is to hard scope or drag scope. I dont even enjoy sniping in cod anymore since I would use a variety of those styles. Just sucks how people bixth about it and the devs just got lazy and didn't offer a good fix.
Yeah. Should have made a delay between aiming and firing. That would stop everything but no scope. We would have *gasp* actual sniping!

The Koshka with max ADS, and Outlaw are just nasty. I prefer awareness so I rock Acoustic sens, Engineer, Team link, and dexterity to maneuver faster.
On pc sniping is way different. Like if i play on a console i have way more time when i see an enemy he takes way longer than on pc to hit accurate shots on me. Like casuals on console are pretty slow compared to pc players.
It is absolutely brutal on PC. The casual players there are x10 better than the ones on console.
Conor Jones depends on the time of day on pc imo but I don’t find it incredibly hard on pc but I guess it’s because I’ve played cod on pc since cod 4 days

The PC, and more specifically keyboard and mouse, reigns supreme because it is the muscle memory of your arm that dynamically accelerates the mouse while a controller is limited to a stick that must translate your intended adjustments crudely into 16 directions.

This video is really great for people just starting in the sniper catalogue. I normally play stick and move though so I never take my thump off the right stick. It helps a lot when I try to show off lol

Charles Tempest Good question I have been trying to test that theory on just bots and it seems like it depends on two or three things now this is just me I might be completely wrong
I’m a horrible shot I was great on black ops two but this game is just made me look like a noob when it comes to sniping
But if you’re close and you move a little bit you’ll get the shot eight times out of 10
But if I’m kind of far I have to be still almost completely to get it on one hit
But the one thing that I’ve noticed is that if I move with my right thumb stick which is the one I look around with while I’m trying to aim or shoot no matter what I will not hit and it is so hard to get that To stop because it’s almost Instinctively for me to do that
I think it helps with the paladin, but when i use the koshka it seems like i can be flying through the air and strafing without much of an aim penalty.
Truly great informative video. I’ve struggled mightily on this game sniping after being a 1.40 sniper on ww2 (not the greatest I know) but I can say this video has helped out more than you could imagine

ThatGuyTobyPlayz Cause TH-camrs dont use Stabilizer. It slows down your Time between each shot Try it with it on then take it off and see the difference
Use the default scope the other scopes slow down the speed
One of the few sniper tips videos for this game that actually has some valuable tips LOL. If nothing else a good wealth of information. Although I have to say the S DM is my favorite sniper. However I am on PC and have a lot more control over my aim.

Today switched to stick and move and it improved my jump shots instantly and my gameplay inproved after a couple of hours

8:50 If people really think this game has a slow TTK, they need to go check out some Dirty Bomb gameplay. That game has a truly long TTK, where, unless you are chaining headshots its going to be around a second kill most chars, and a half a second if you can chain your headshots. That's if your aim is spot on (game has really accurate hipfire, so you just needed to have your aim and tracking on point).
