Daggerwin, about the headers,
ZuckerRuben: sugar beet
Rotkohl: red cabbage
Weisskohl: white(green) cabbage
Salat: lettuce
Karroten: carrots
Zweibeln: onions
Kartoffeln: potatoes
that little beast can do it all.
Da ist wohl wer deutscher
It would be great to get this machine on console bc it is so much cheaper than the machines we currently have
Daggerwin, this means that you can sell the trailed potato harvester and letter as this machine does both for you, just need the different header
@@Jxst_Silas I cannot take any credit for the translation, all I did was look up the words and their equivalent English words.
The intros can't get any beter🤣 I love them
Yep 👍
Yeah
I love them
@@finbarmcguinness1334 me to
I see what you did there
As others already mentioned the language is german, and it seems there are headers for salad, onions and carrots aswell. So a potential machine for chellington aswell
So after your earlier confusion about giving silage to the pigs, finally you've found a way to do it, in a sense. What a remarkable mod.
Daggerwin while compacting, the only thing which matters is the weight of the vehicles.
Basically heavy tractor->fast compacting
Light tractor->slow compacting
That harvester seems to have potato header aswell. Maybe you can try the other header when you harvest potato next time.
When filling a pit, to get it level you need to set your cruise control on 1 or 2 mph and just let it go...then back in beside what you dumped and repeat. It's not rocket science guys.....
If you want to upgrade the harvester go from the 9410 to the 9610. Shouldn't be much more than your current harvester. I'd also suggest adding a nice big enclosed shed so all your equipment is out of the weather. Then put the money from the sale of the old sheds toward a nicer house.
Daggerwin, when you put the duals on the JD, it reset all your configs (engine size, front 3pt, etc..)
Daggerwin: “it’s a fair ground ride".
Time lapse:fair ground music”.
Who else is bringing in there cows in for milking while watching this daggerwin this shows that whenever us farmers get time we watch these amazing videos
Watching this after milking 😂🐄
Once a day milking😂💪
When he said he was putting the beets in a pit I was a little confused, but thinking on it I have seen large piles near farms before. But for storage I’d have expected him to get one of the placeables, that look a little like aircraft hangers to put them in, or at the least have 2 of the ones he bought as that seems too tiny for the amount he has!
Still Loving the series more than roleplay! Happy to see the Deere get worked so much. Thanks for the content Daggerwin!
The headers names are German and that's what the different crops are called. Sugar beet for example is called Zuckerrübe :)
Edit: From right to left the headers are for: 1 carrots, 2 onions, 3 Salad, 4 white cabbage, 5 red cabbage, 6 sugar beet.
IIRC even the BGA accepts sugar beets (and possibly for a higher price), so before selling those to the sell point at the store check that out :)
I like that beet harvester better than any 'in game' one I've seen yet. Takes same amt. of rows, seems fast and is a reasonable price. Good job! Thanks Dagger. Pig food, yeah!
I have driven over sugar beets IRL and they do compact quite nicely and they also even out (flatten) significantly. By the end of that compacting session it should have looked like you were driving through an abattoir. The calliope music was a nice touch though.
I wish that harvester was on console it looks awesome for a starter farm
Wheigt affects the compacting of the pit and the Wheels are for smoothing
Hi, loved the video !
Would also definitely love to watch a DDR (GDR, RDA...) themed cooperative gameplay with all the Fortschritt equipment available as mods, where the two of you would, I don't know, take back ownership of an abandonned farm with all those machines around, and with seasons, in a realistic way, work through the years to buy newer equipment (let's say 5 years per Seasons' year) while developping !
Anyway thanks for all the content again, much love.
You can use the starter trailer as a livestock trailer.
i watch your videos on my second screen as i play games. your voice is so soothing, and when you do a time-lapse the music is always on point.
Hi and nice video
we farm 5000 acres in Victoria Australia we use big machinery such as a case 2388 extreme version and John Deere tractors from 8320 8120 8110 a 4255 and a new 2nd hand tractor we brought with low hours a 4455 we have had good seasons for the past few years and now land is getting very dear in price cause everyone is selling up moving the the city’s and then Coronavirus moved in and everyone evacuated the city and came back to all the small local towns and now everyone is going back cause COVID in Australia isn’t very bad right now. We do lots of different crops from wheat barley oats vetch chickpeas and lentils and lupines 👌👍🏻
Brilliant video Dagwin, thank you!
That beet harvester seems not only multi purpose but seems bigger than the in-game self propelled one
I use that harvester all the time, works good for potatoes also
Daggerwin you should make a compilation video of all the Survival Challenge videos so far. (This suggestion was made by someone else in a previous episode, but I do not know by who). You should also save for a truck and flatbed so you can haul machinery quicker
Virtual Daggerwin makes dinner then sets fire to the house
Nice intro
that beet harvester is also really good for harvesting potatoes. just change the header
I’m glad I am watching you tube this late in the night so I can see this right when it comes out
I do like the idea of doing a big pug farm, it's not usually something that is usually done so it will definitely be new and interesting lol
Fortschritt is a GDR brand and the other headers were for onions, red cabbage and so on
Most people won't know what GDR stands for... Greets from Czechia. We have quite some Fortschritt running here
Best intro yet
The fairground music came outta nowhere!! So funny 😄
Daggerwin you should have got the potato and sugar beet header so if you do potatoes again it would quicker harvesting them instead trailed harvesting
I really just spent about three or four days watching this whole series!
Great video, it’s amazing how much progress you have made since the start!
@Daggerwin
it is german
Zuckerrüben = sugarbeet
Rotkohl = Red cabbage
Weißkohl = white cabbage
Man daggerwin you have the paitence to do,if this was me i wouldve quit half way
Love the series daggwin, please keep it going :)
I think its based on the weight of your vehicle for compacting
Good video's
Keep the Deere duals on. Looks awesome
daggerwin for your roleplay you should help the other farms around you to get more money and progress your farm
Wat
0:07 foreshadowing
The way that I have seen people level sugarbeet irl is with a silage fork or a blade and push it flat, it isnt like grass that the tire treads will move it and level it as a beet is much bigger than a blafe of grass 😂
The number of wheels while compacting doesn't matter it's the weight that matters. So wheel weights are better than duals because they are heavier but duals are still heavier than standards.
I’m from western Germany and admired he ingenious way our eastern brothers had to get things going. Ni
OMGI died when you put the carnival music on for the compacting
almost but also only almost triggered me you placed that pit crooked xD great video :)
i actually feel sad for you knowing you play without sounds :/ sometimes it just makes you feel good to be able to hear whats around you in a game
U should make all the ground the same texture it would look better
Keep em coming dagerwin I'm living these vids
Hello! Daggwin I just wanted to say hope you have a great and a great weekend and great video:D
Day
OMG, that fairground music made me completely lose it! 😂😂😂
Funny intro dagwin🤣
Love the intro
The intros
Daggerwin you should get a pit for the greenhouse manure.
The circus music😂
The part about the intro that scares me is that he said "when" not "if" 🤣
You can sell your pigs for a profit daggerwin
Do 30 or 40 minutes vidio
Great video
The birds will always show up after harvest because you’ve dug up the bugs
Hey daggerwin you should check out the firewood mod it increases the value of shorter wood
You would use the silage extension for sugar beat irl
Yes the different headers are for different crop types 😊
It is the dancing tractor
Love your videos, always look forward to seeing them
As far as trailers you should check out the Gilbert trailer off of mod hub,it holds 30k liters and cost 20k
It has been my favorite since fs17
I think you should get a telehandler
I love how it's "when" he sets it on fire, not "if" :D
Nice video 😀👌
luv the intros dag lol 😍🤣
the harvester sounds like a 1.9TDI LoL
Intro: Hint hint burn down the house and buy a new one...
Remember you have a silage compactor in the back of the shed
Loving the videos and have been watching all the other series as well.
Just wondering, where do you get the music for your videos?
Nice :D
That music when he was compacting the beets.
When you go on your vintage role-play this week you can go into vehicles and go too miscellaneous in the vehicle category there’s a Massey Ferguson 20 that can hold 8500 L of straw, canola and anything for you when you load in to the sever
Daggerwin love this series
Great vids
AFAIK compacting is helped by more wheels and wheel weights.
The intros get weirder every time lol 🤣🤣🤣
if your going to be doing a lot with pigs why not get a sugar beat store for the extra then you have it when needed
Best gag intro yet.
Yeah but what if his house whent on fire 🔥
That would be a bit sad tho
Should buy another clamp for pigs
The compacter was in the new shed all along
Got to ask ... have you tried a chainsaw on the resident log in the chipper? ~ Loved the 'Fairground Ride' :)
Lol thanks :D Yes I have tried a chainsaw, the log is invisible and it does nothing to it.
The language is german
Liebe Grüße aus Deutschland
Love your work mate
Just build a house, you don't need to virtually brun the other one down. Just adapt it into an animal shed
Great vid, as per...
could you or maybe one of your esteemed viewers, put a copy of the link for that pig silage pit please, can't seem to antwhere
cheers all :)
took me some time to find it to
You configured the jhon deer back to 105 horse power and no front pto
If you do have sugar beats left over you my want to feed them to the pigs that way the pig food you get from the beats will not convert as much to roots food type.
Love your videos 👍
Collecting trailers again Daggerwin.
hey daggerwin. the sugar beet harvester appers to be a germen mod. the different headers are for different crops
Loved the vid dag keep up the good work
