The scale details are insane on this. Changing to a 26t pinion made a huge difference. I have the Dbx-16 and love it! As always great video Matt!👊🏼😊🤘🏻

I own the ZD Thunder B10-E and that white c-hub (it's black on my buggy) indeed is a weak spot. Mine broke from a simple top speed roll over. I purchased the aluminum hop-up to fix that. I couldn't put another plastic one on. Broke way too easy.
I really like the platform/layout of these buggys.
Both of the ZD Racing buggies like this look awesome!! The details are great. It does bug me when the manufacturer puts on the box that it'll do 80kmh, and it does barely over half that!! 🤷🏻♂️
It's the worst dude! I think it's okay if they include what's needed to make it go 80kmh. Personally I thought the speed was okay, no need to lie about it.

I like the videos my friend, and I know the folks today have the attention span the size of a tick, but the rapid editing was a lil jarring. Maybe a bit too rapid. Thanks for the video tho, I was interested in this car, but ZD racing has left a bad taste in my mouth since their pirates 3 monster truck.

This thing handles like a desert buggy should handle. I also have the dbx8 which is s beast on the sand dunes with paddle tires..

hi.... in time 00:43... A small silicone tube is visible on the axle without the wheel. My doubt is if it is left and the wheel is pressed on it or it is thrown. thank you

So I know you put a 26 tooth in and the thing woke up a lot is the pinion size a 48p or .6 mod.. you may have said it in the video but I didn't catch it

Hi what you think of the tyres it comes with are they good
I like them, a little soft but that's good for grip, if you want something abit more slidy, you could change to a harder compound (buggy tyres, I believe it is a 12mm hex)
@MatthewSimm I want good grip looking for larger tyres for rb10 off rd track .So these zd racing might be a good pick 4 grip on rb10

Just my local hobby shop. 48pitch is very common so most places should have it

Depends on what capacity size battery you use.
Need more on the maxx 4s with a 2200kv

I bought the metal c hubs and steering link, made a world of difference. After that, replaced the battery, you are right its not great
Same here. That c-hub attached to the upper rod breaks way too easy. The way mine broke on my B10-E I couldn't put another one on. Aluminum hubs and good to go. It's much harder to break an a-arm Anyway. Makes total sense.
@@TboneTenEightiesHey. I’m looking to buy one. Does the durability improve if you change the arms and c hubs to metal? Because I keep seeing people write that you shouldn’t upgrade to metal because then other parts that are not metal break easily.
@@Themlpg73 How I usually go about it is.. what ever breaks, gets the metal upgrade to replace the stock plastic part(s). I also keep this particular cars brushless system (power) stock which is much easier on the parts. The faster you make the rc the more pressure goes on the parts when you collide (crash) with stuff.
To simply answer your question and if you do actually buy one then Just get the metal C hubs and take it from there. 👍
The durability improved. So far I haven't broke an a-arm so the metal hubs at the wheels are ok. Not causing other problems.
P.S. Only use metal parts where the stock plastic keeps constantly breaking..or breaks very easily from minimal pressure.

Not sure if people are aware, but there are or should always be a part that is the weakest link (made of plastics) that would break before all the other parts just so that the integrity of the other components are not compromised. I have seen this is many different brands and i think it is a smart design. I tend not to upgrade them because if bashing them hard breaks that part always and not the other parts, i like to keep it that way.
"white plastic" Is called Delrin my friend..Mine doesnt have the Delrin? Odd
My B10-E shares some of the same parts as this buggy and on mine the c-hub is black. But it doesn't make it any stronger that's for sure. It's the weakest part on the rc. Breaks at the upper link connection very easy. Metal Hop-up fixes that though.
@@TboneTenEighties Mine are the black also..The white delrin ones are probably stronger and alloy for sure is the way to go

Something is wrong with yours. mine got up to 43 mph with a 26t pinion. Maybe the battery is bad or esc not calibrated. I know its only 69 not 80 kph but its still a bit faster than yours. Could be quality control issue too.

Not really, The DBX 1/7 is way more durable.

It's not worth it for $300 because. Put another $100 you can buy a really good RC car, like the Traxxas Rustler.... I don't say this is not a good car. it's a nice car but that kind of money is too expensive for Chinese car... I would rather go fo r Traxxas Rustler for that money... 😊
The Losi Lasernut is around 400 too and is super good
