    I got the same matte black. I got the Decoy29 Core 4 last June. About 600 miles so far. I love that bike. It is really helping me progress. I bought a roll of the 3M Paint protection film and did the frame wrap myself for less than $40. Now it looks mostly gloss black. I've had a couple of small crashes that been worth the effort to put that film on.

      I picked up a whole cut set of frame protection, put one piece on and then decided to thrash the bike haha. It's already got some scratches, kind of wish I had the patience to do the rest but I wasn't a huge fan of the look I got from the kit. Love this bike though!

    Awesome! Sorry if I missed it did you order true to size off the chart? I’m right in between M and L think I might go up

      I'm 6'3" so I fall between XL and XXL but I think the XL is the better fit for me. I don't think I'd want to go larger. I also rode a L on a demo day which definitely felt too small :)

    Why did you switch the brakes? Nice bike!
    Is it to make it more like a motorcycle?

    • @GarageAddiction
      @GarageAddiction  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The brakes are switched so the bike folds into the box better. The front brake is on the left now which was weird to me at first coming from motorcycles but I use about 80% rear and 20% front on the trails so it works out.

      @@MotoVloggedOUT Hell yeah! The core 5 looks sick, enjoy it!

      Ha, took the bike out and I was completely backwards on the brakes. Front is on the right and back on the left, must have been my last bike that was reversed.

      @@GarageAddiction I think that’s still reversed lol
      Bikes are usually rear brake on the right!

    Is that a RD 350 two stroke street bike in the background?

    What size did you get, how tall are you and how do you feel the sizing is? I’m seeing a lot of conflicting things saying to size up with the decoy MX. Thank for the info!

      I'm 6'3" and I went with the XL. I demoed a L Decoy Core 3 and it was pretty good but after sitting on the XL I'm happy with my choice.

      Don't size up. I got a XL and should of gotten a L.

    Dang you missed the new core 5 and updated battery/motor.

    • @GarageAddiction
      @GarageAddiction  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      True, I was a little bummed when I saw it come out but on the upside I did spent like $1200 less

      @@GarageAddiction it's a good bike either way. I have a core 3 and while the new motor and 720 is nice, i can't justify it. Anyways stay safe on the trails!

      @@the_DOS Definitely! The core 3 was what sold me on YT too. Stay safe out there too!

    how far can you go on one charge?

      Depends on the climbs and what mode you're in but for me about 25 miles is as much as I can take it.
