Firstly, PSY's "Gentleman" dance is based on a routine from Brown Eyed Girls; blame them if you think it's unoriginal. Secondly, he is an established star in Asia with (I think) 7 charting albums in 10 different countries. Thirdly, he isn't a normal K-pop style star; his closest American analogue is The Lonely Island. He's comedy. So please, take your new knowledge of K-pop and Korea and go forth. Koreans are wonderful people who love to laugh.
