Thanks for another great reaction ❤️🔥. I think the best theory for the pill bottle is that it got put in when Carmen scooped up all the orange slices and dumped the fruit in the jug. Xanax will make you mellow or knock you out depends on the amount.
As for last episode Carm went before and during work to a meeting. After the second meeting he was coming back to work and saw Richie with Nico.
The awkward dynamic with Pete has to do with the fact that the other guys are so dysfunctional ( especially in regards to emotions) they can not relate to a well adjusted, genuinely nice guy like Pete. You can however see why Sugar would marry such a nice guy.

10:00 the knife in the warm water is supposed to help get cleaner slices without any crumbs left on the knife in cakes. very handy trick!

I think one of the things about this show that takes some getting used to is that everybody is redeem-able, everyone deserves a chance and also a second chance. There are no "bad guys". People are people, and they mess up, and they bring their unmanaged stuff to the table, and they take things out on the wrong people - I mean, we all know this from our own lives, and those of us who are honest can also admit that we have sometimes done this too.
another show would have had Tina storm off or get fired and we all could feel very good about it. but in The Bear - Sydney worked with her, kept her cool, gave her another chance, and Tina finally understood. I don't think anyone has ever demanded excellence of Tina before. she's a hard worker. VERY hard worker. But taking pride in her work is new for her and she's resisting it, probably because she's insecure. What if she fails? What if she's not good enough? "Tell me it's shitty."
But nobody goes around saying to people "Hi, I am feeling very insecure, could you be more encouraging until I get the hang of it?" ha. I love Tina so much and felt the same way you did over the first four episodes - she is SUCH a good actress - and Tina is now one of my favorite characters (although I love them all, including Fak). again, it's so fun watching along with you two!

Richie is definitely grieving hard...he lost his best friend and going through a divorce now the restaurant is changing. rough times tbh
