I've used my wonderful peeler for years, but never knew how to make the adjustments you've just demonstrated. You've provided an invaluable instruction.
I really appreciate the time you took to make this very clear video. Loved the close-ups, I purchased the Spiralizer Peeler because it was ranked number one on a review by America's Test Kitchen. Now I know how to use it. The paper instructions included in the box were not clear enough, so your video was the best instruction! Thank you so much.
Thank you for your easy instructions! I got it out of the box & had no idea how to get the apple inside in order to peel. It had no instructions included. Found your video & had np problems. Now I know how to adjust it & use it. Thank you again!!
Nice explanation and use of an ERD gift. Just to add, you can move the coring feature out of the way. Also if coring, when retracting the arm through the corer, it usually pops the core off.
Thank you. Thanksgiving 2022 today and first time to use my apple peeler. I couldn't have done it without you. Thank you for your video. Happy Thanksgiving!!!
I just got mine (the exact same one) and I can't figure out how to stop it from slicing them into rings.. it starts out well and shaves them, but then the end piece where it's supposed to core starts slicing the entire apple! Help!
@OliverPorter92 it is, I've adjusted it per each apple to center it but still having the same problem.. wondering if maybe mine is just too old, or maybe the blades need sharpened? The receipt days 1995 😅
Sorry for the delayed response. My best results have been on 2.5" diameter apples, but it does work on smaller ones. Color should not impact results, as long as the apple is not too mushy. Hope this helps!
my 'peeler arm' flops back and forth, not enough tension holding it against the apple. Everything looks positioned as it should be. I cant understand the problem. Any ideas?
It could be a 1) a bad spring, 2) the peeler metal piece does not have enough clearance to the arm so it is not 'biting' into the apple enough, or 3) the stop that adjusts the overall arm position needs adjustment so the spring holds the arm closer. Hope this helps.
@@OliverPorter92 Thanks so much! I think you might have Dx'd the prob! I bought it 'used' on Amz, and the spring looks like its sitting sorta slanted and 'off' a bit. I'll send it back :-) Thanks again, Your video was(is) the BEST out of ALL that I (partially) watched! :-)
Hi! Is it possible remove the front blade. I don't need slices (potatoes). Does the job without it? Anybody tested? I'm afraid when I remove the front blade the apple/potato move away from peeler.
Will easily pass on the suction cup version. Have tried several different ones and they only stay suctioned for a short while until then becoming a pain in the azz to get them to stay suctioned. Most of those gadgets are made in commi china, the world's capital of mass produced junk whereby using some of the most lower grade materials as possible in order to make the product last long enough to then void the warranty
I agree with the negative comments. This is horrible at best. The part that cuts and removes the core moves no matter how hard it’s tightened. Tightening the screw on the slicer (peeler) blade is a joke. The apple isn’t perfectly round so if you tighten it to far you miss a good portion of the front of the apple. If you can peel the front portion the blade stays in the same position so it will take more meat from the apple. Finally you literally have to put force on the rod holding the apple. I gave mine to charity. I really feel I did them an injustice.
It's a poor quality peeler - IMO it sucks! The peel is ripped, along with the apple slices. BTW - you need to take a knife and slice down the apple so that you have apple rings, not a "slinky". And, yes I have a quality one!
Seriously.... Thank you. I know this may seem silly but I can't say how grateful I am for this video explaining all the adjustments. Thank you!!
Thanks for watching and glad it helped! The adjustments make the tool work well and are satisfying!
Perfect demonstration! Thank youuuuuuu!

I bought a couple things from Seenga and really love it ❤️
I am very happy 🤩 because I noticed your feedback before I ordered it and will buy it from seenga 🥳 thank you.
Thanks for watching! Hope yours works well.

Uh oh! Is the apple centered with the circular portion?
@OliverPorter92 it is, I've adjusted it per each apple to center it but still having the same problem.. wondering if maybe mine is just too old, or maybe the blades need sharpened? The receipt days 1995 😅
can it be used without the slicer part? If I am making french fries cut, potatoes, I need the peeler part but not the slicer.
Yes, it should work - you can unscrew the slicer wing nut and rotate it down. Thanks for watching and hope this helps!
In Australia, we call a them Apple slinky’s Machines
seenga has just about everything you can imagine buying electronics
If I use the peeler for potatoes 🥔, I don’t want them “cored.” So how do I just peel, without spiraling or coring??
Sure! Loosen the nuts holding the blade/coring circle, and tilt it out of the way (swing it down 90 degrees). Thanks for watching and hope this helps!
🤩🤩 They delivered the product to my address in a short time from seenga
Does it do oranges, limes and lemons?
Not designed for this but worth a try!
Does this work as well with smaller green apples, the granny smiths?

Yes just loosen the wing nut and rotate it down.

Work okay.

Can you bypass the slicing

If I would know any product prices in the market personally, I always go to Seenga
I wish there was a way to peel and core without slicing.
They make apple corers. They sell them on that jungle website.
@MrLookatmyhat I have a cover, but it doesn't peel.
Lol. I just want a combo corer/peeler... no slicer

Always use fresh crisp apples or you will have a mess.
My core didn't come out.

Now everyone is shopping with seenga no one buys in these expensive stores 😉
I threw it in the rubbish, after a few failed attempts.
Video is fine but, the peeler isn’t…sorry WESTON.
Thanks for watching and happy it may have helped, sorry that you got a dud. Mine is still peeling fine a few years later.
Goes to show you cant pls everyone
