Japan has had 89 world champions throughout history, being the fourth most prolific country ever in boxing. It's not too surprising that they're producing such a volume of top talent given their track record. It's great to see anyway since they box like no others and consistently have some of the best fights in boxing.

Bam is building his own resume “legacy”. I don’t see the fight happening. It’s a different mindset from western fighters and more importantly promotion. Japan they face strong opponents regardless. Economically not wise decision, also longevity wise. But for boxing fans, it’s treasure. Many great Japanese fighters retired early after first loss unless there is a several fights more singed with promoter in advanced. I am ok with both approach but just different culture and mindset.

Him against the Monster Inoue is definitely an intriguing fight. Basically Japan's version of Spence vs Crawford, but the fight itself would be more similar to Bivol vs Beterbiev.
Essentially, Junto could outbox Inoue for many rounds, but Inoue's power and pressure would make him be on the defensive for more rounds and wear him out throughout the fight.
As a result, Inoue wins on points. That's how I see the fight playing out.

Lol I think Inoue wins, but I disagree with your reasoning.... Inoue hits incredibly hard but he's very much a masterful boxer--and it's even more apparent than when looking at someone like Beterbiev (who quite honestly has always had somewhat underrated boxing IQ, simply because he's known as a devastating puncher). When Inoue is switched on, his attacks are extremely precise and his defense and feet are on point. Junto, as good as he is, I don't think that he's generally as sharp as Inoue has shown he can be.

Junto calls himself a kamikaze fighter, but in reality, it is his opponents who have no choice but to kamikaze-attack him, and he is like a naval destroyer that uses its CIWS (Phalanx) to fire anti-aircraft fire. In addition, Junto has even implemented Tomahawk missiles for long-range attacks, making players of lesser height and reach than Junto feel that they have virtually no chance of winning.

He reminds me of MLB pitcher, Yu Darvish. As you said, Junto throws many punches from the hip, which keeps his opponents guessing. The way his uppercuts AND his overhead shots start from the same point is wild. Yu Darvishs’ pitches all come from the same delivery/arm angle. Keeps the batters guessing.

Technical, discipline, in-fight, mental strength. But the rare thing about Nakatani is, it is very rare for a southpaw tall fighter to engage inside game so much. His defense, head position in in-fight game is what separates him from the rest in his division i think.
