Opponents couldn't believe how powerful he was even as a kid, they had to check his gloves to see if he had something inside. Even Omar Narvaez's trainer couldn't believe how he got beaten down so bad, he got the officials to check his gloves after the fight but everything checked out. Inoue said himself it isn't just his power because others punch punching bags harder than him, but it's his speed, timing and accuracy as well. Also his footwork to put him in position to land those power shots.
@@MarkH-z8 not about Inoue gloves, it's all about timing and precision....
@@LeoDiengdoh Yeah he used to wear Winning gloves the most padded gloves and he still got KO's.
19 year old Ameteur Naoya Inoue was knocking down professional boxers (such as 26 year old Ryoichi Taguchi) in sparring matches. The earliest footage of Naoya Inoue knocking out opponent out was when he was 12 years of age (1:43)
@@Ty-v6v-c4rYeah, Taguchi questioned himself if he wanted to continue boxing after that spar and wanted payback in the pros. Inoue beat Japan's no.1 contender Kohei Kono in his 3rd pro fight, then Taguchi accepted Inoue's challenge for his Japanese title or even requested it. First time Inoue went the distance in a 10 rounder. He said his head was still ringing for 2 weeks after that fight. Lol.
Good stuff, thanks for this years content Boxing Life
Appreciate that 👊
Awesome documentary on a stretch of Inoue's career that I think is quite underrated. Can't wait to see what else he can accomplish before he retires.
Yeah he was still fairly unknown before he entered the wbss. That certainly helped his profile on the world stage. But looking back you can truly see how talented and good he was. Yeah I feel he’s a more complete fighter now, he can do almost everything.
Amazing video on the pound for pound king
he makes them look to be in slow motion. The only one that could beat the young monster is the monster today
The best fighter in years will go down as an All time great very special talent and will need a very good man to beat him.great content
Thank you for the great video!! I will introduce your video to my Japanese fans! I look forward to your videos about Naoya Inoue!
Thank you! I have done others in the past which you can also check out. 😀
inoue is an animal
You cooked with this one!
christmas gem, thanks for the videos this year buddy exited for next years
Daum this vid was really well detailed great job 👏
Amazing!! I appreciate the time you take to make these videos. God bless bro ✝️❤️🔥
Appreciate you all watching! Thank you!
The first time I saw Inoue fight was against a Thai fighter named Jarupianlerd. He managed to go 10 rounds with Inoue before being crushed by an overhand right which is pretty amazing if you think about it. Another fantastic video Jaime. The music is really good too.
What is an average KO percentage in the amateurs ?
@@brucelee5576 very low like under 15%.
Bald is KILLING IT!! Levels above!!
Thank for the video 💯
Great video, as always. Inoue is a very special talent and worthy as a P4P great; like Usyk and Crawford- who can beat them?
That Taguchi fight looked brutal.
Marvin Hagler (got screwed early career and didn’t give up) prince naseem (seemed magical the way he boxed while he was still killing people), and the monster (hardest pound for pound puncher if all time) are 3 of my all time most entertaining fighters.
He is still a menace now, what the hell are you guys talking about ? He destroyed Fulton, Tapales and Nery after moving up and not less than 2 years to become undisputed at the current weight class.
素晴らしい動画を作ってくれてありがとう❤
ナレーションがとても良かったです👍
Fulton’s father
フェザー級でも全員破壊される逃げるべきだ、ベルトを置かないと悲惨なことになる。
It's a brave person who'd bet against Inoue, but in Sam Goodman he fights a different kind of fighter. Goodman also has been boxing since he was a toddler, he's young, aggressive and has great speed and footwork; a similar style to Inoue's. I'll still bet on the Monster to win, but it's going to be a lot closer than most think.
Fighting this guy. You have a 89.29% of getting knocked out. He undefeated. So u have like 11% of living.
2 only 2x undisputed inoue and Crawford
and usyk...
It’s too bad Inoue didn’t end up fighting Estrada, Gonzales , sor rungvisai or else his lower weight legacy will never be in question.
Because they all ducked him forcing Inoue to move up to 118. They were also scared to move up to 118 as well with Inoue waiting there for a whole 3 years and a half for them. Bam right now is exposing how overrated those fighters are at 115. They all would’ve been exposed moving up to 118 but they all decided to stay at 115 fighting each other never becoming undisputed.
@ yeah I know what happened it’s still a shame unfortunately not a knock on Inoue for sure
They all ducks
Sor rungvasai was almost a nobody before he fought Gonzalez.
Gonzalez picked rungvasai over Inoue which he ended up losing anyways. Inoue skipped that division since all was ducking
was? he still IS a monster
One of the few ho breaks most guys he fights. Just breaks their will to fight. If you show very casual boxing fans clips of Inoue, they can tell right way he hits harder than anybody they have ever seen ho wasn’t twice his size. The footwork to get his hips and legs into all his shots just blows people’s heads off. He needs some roots of fight gear, the merch of him out there is gaudy.
Japanese athletes don't get enough recognition, be it boxing, baseball, or anything else.
Ohtani gets ridiculous amounts of play in the states, from being a dummy and letting his translator access all his finances for some reason to people fawning over his two way play. Ichiro was the man growing up in the states. You mean guys who never leave Japan and Asia get overlooked.
Can one say he skipped over 115. That division had all legends roman Gonzalez Estrada rungvisai Cuedras. Would this be a duck ?
He never skipped 115. He skipped 112. He was champion at 115. They all ducked Inoue forcing him to move up to 118. Inoue stayed at 118 for 4 years waiting for them and they never moved up. All the guys at 115 are overrated. Instead of challenging themselves by moving up to 118, they all decided to stay at 115 fighting each other never becoming undisputed. Bam right now is exposing how overrated the 115 division is.
I wish he play Davis (tank) , who is creating such uproar in USA.
Davis and his fans are knobs.
Inoue TH-cam video comment sections, are always ruined by the knob Tank fans.
The Casimero fans are just as bad.
Tank should fight Usyk, or anyone for that matter.
A 30 year old prospect.
Davis is terrible! Not a contender! Cherry pick,no belts no titles

Inoue never fought at Flyweight.
(I just could not help myself)
I know, but he fought at light flyweight and super flyweight. I do say in the video the flyweight divisions. Just doesn’t have the same ring to it if put in the title or make it super specific.
nobody wanted to fight him. so he skipped the weight class and fought for belt and won.
What you mean was? He is
