Fry i made it to pvzh ultimate league for the first time ever thanks to your budget impfinity pirates deck, i played pvzh when i was 7 and never imagined getting that far
Same, I got to ult league for the first time with the help of budget Neptuna pirates (insanely strong deck). I've been playing pvzh since 2019-2020. Thank you Fry for all of the advices, laughs and fun times watching your content ❤️.
hot take: if u veto monkey meadows u r TROLLING you're removing the neutral playfield just to get a map that MIGHT help u. but it can also completely ruin your game.
nah but u can actually gain intel by vetoing monkey meadow. think about it, you reveal nothing about your own deck, but you reveal if theyre playing control or aggro by seeing how they veto the non-monkey meadow map, allowing you to gain an even more significant advantage than the board advantage by rerolling your starting hand appropriately. but, without this, it does just leave you with a worse map, because if you get a good map that supports you, the enemy might reroll it, and if it's a map that the enemy wants, they won't reroll it. unless you want the same things, as in a mirror match, you are put at a map disadvantage no matter what.
Fry I made some slight considerations based on mechanics I've discovered. End of turn monkey abilities like mortars activate by the order in which they were played(idk if this applies to defenders when defending). Because of this, in the specific scenario that you can play both burny and mortyon the same turn, it is better to play morty first so that if it can kill a small bloon, burny would have less chances to waste burn damage on a less than 40 or less hp bloon. Still rng dependent but it has saved me a few times 🤓
Love this deck! Also a (challenge?) deck idea for I have for BCS: Use all of the nested bloons with either Quincy or Gwen so that if an opponent gets the nested bloon low, you can kill it to get the stats back up! It's also really good against defenders I think because they'll use all of their shots on the first bloon and then the smaller one will still attack!
Hey Fry, do you think that perhaps one of the monkey placements being replaced with water would be a good addition? It allows for the addition of staple monkeys such as the submarine and buccaneer and perhaps and could spice up how control manages their monkeys in the late game. Also one more question from me, do you think cash drop should get a rework/nerf as it's basically mandatory added to every single deck.
im not Fry but if its replacing a spot, it might make bringing a water tower 'mandatory' for some decks so you dont miss out on the value of having a 5th tower... otherwise i guess you can place them anywhere and water just shows up/they come with the inflatable pool
I think the opposite should happen, u should have cards like sub and boat but have them be INSANELY OP for their cost BUT u either need to run Mermonkey (new monkey that allows water towers to be placed on land) or inflatable pools. so yea, they're incredibly op, BUT u need to set them up first
i dig the idea of the pool power being a card and Lord of the Abyss mermonkey (or even 3xx and 4xx having it's effect) giving water towers room you could go really crazy with giving water towers strong effects with that way too. And just adding in more amphibious cards (mermonkeys) or even having a hero like Brickell spend bloontonium on water spots...
Fry, you need to listen to your audience on this one since you’re new to the Bloons community… you’re saying “Moab” wrong! It’s not hard, first name “Moe” + “ab” like a six-pack. Love the content as always!
@@FryEmUp I've tried to tell you before... that's just not how that works, like, ever. I'll give you 3 examples: NASA, ASAP, and FOMO. You've heard them said, and the pronunciation has NOTHING to do with what the letters stand for!
the necromancer is good recontextualization and the juggernaut is bad necromancer makes zombie bloons but he doesn't need to make them for other bloons the juggernaut doesn't ramp up or do big single target damage if they want to do a different spin on the juggernaut they could have him have some sort of finisher effect where he does bonus damage to low hp bloons. the juggernaut doesn't need to be a 1 to 1 but it's current design is of a different tower entirely the poplust.
Honestly, I feel like getting PoD shrank is better than Necromancer in a lot of circumstances. Half the value from PoD is the MOAB, which shrink does nothing about, whereas Necro continually spawns bloons and still often heals bloons for not much less than PoD a lot of the time. Just thoughts, there are definitely times where PoD is better to have on the board.
Odd how obyn's wolf doesnt get +5 for being on the game night map where monkeys get +5. Makes me wonder if we will see other types of none- monkey towers with different synergies
I'm actually curious on how a "Well rounded" deck would handle in this game honestly. I wouldn't be curious on it with most card games cuz it usually don't go well but this one... Well the realms of possibility are there. A deck that isn't specifically control or aggro but has a mixed balanced of both. There's also gonna be deck types that you don't find in other card games like this one, those ones would intrigue me the most.
I feel like people have had to have said it before, but Quincy is a male and Gwen is a female. It’s not a big deal but it would sure save my brain from thinking about this mistake every video lol. Still have been loving the gameplay otherwise fry, keep it up!
@@FryEmUp Hmm. Good to know. Seems like it would be useful to have. Could also be used to clear up space for a pink balloon if your board was full. Wonder what the reason is for not being able to. (Avoid misclicks, more difficult to code, or something else)
Necromancer seems overpriced. It gets 70 bloon HP value each turn at best which is like drawing a (0-cost) red bloon (with both charges). Banana farm does a similar thing with cash drops and costs about half as much.
It 100% is imo. Id make it that its ability activates at the end of turn (same thing with POD) and id make it so the zombie bloons have 80-100 HP (basically green bloons) and keep its cost at 7

Gambling in Bloons
Its literaly a game thats all RNG. Every time you draw a card youre hoping to get something that MIGHT help you.

I removed the yellow bloons and added 3 steady growth bloons cuz I feel like they fit better into the deck and I must say it feels correct.
this deck was made to counter control, and control decks can typically deal with steady growth bloons while they are only at 100 health
@@FryEmUp fair but against aggro they don't have the control power to deal with steady growth bloons so it just insta wins games

That's called a "mid-ranged" deck and unfortunately that's not a thing in this game because it's less consistent and less worth than aggro or control.
