This country may not have the best economy and I don't know how's everyone doing in Mexico, but even people here much more prefer buy street food not because they're poor, but because they know that it is not worth to buy a burger from McDonald's when there is better burger stall that is right next to the street. Hell, me and my friends will always avoid McD whenever we go to mall. None of us see it as this heavenly food. We just jokingly said that it's for rich people, but we all know that it's actually not that good. If we want to spend lots of money on food, then we'd make sure that it's gonna be worth it
