I like the original toon ones the best and I liked the newest movie (animated) and don’t really mind the one that came after these but these blocky Nick looking ones are my least favorite. Didn’t even get the cross over wwe figs (kickin myself now) cus they were in this form but just interested to see if this was the ones you grew up with…. Show wise I know this is acclaimed. Same with MOTU from 2002 more mature etc. but of course my bias goes with the look of the ones I had growing up.
I just got rocked by a massive wave of nostalgia. I'll never forget meeting Rob Paulsen and Maurice LaMarche in person for the first time. It was like a dream come true for me, and hearing Rob reprise his role as Donatello is just icing on the cake for me.
The 1980's show isn't that bad when you watch the new cuts which cut out the awkward animation goofs and keep in most of the dialogue. But 2012 really brought back the best story points of that cartoon while leaving behind the absurdist humor. And we learn that Kraang was banished to the 2nd dimension by the superior versions of himself for being a foolish self-destructive idiot.
@@Adamtendo_player_1 The Backgrounds are minimalist. The show is comical, the personalities are excellent, And the series doesn't get too dark until the season where Shredder and Splinter die. (Keep in mind that's when the shows creator died and was no longer involved in the project)

Shredders revenge was a love letter to the NES and Super NES Turtles game using pixel art 16 bit graphics and it was fun. As a long time player from those old days I enjoyed Shredders Revenge.
DEFINITELY getting this game on April 23rd. My local theater--which is getting ready to close in April, coincidentally--had this arcade game for a while until they decided to get rid of it. The best thing about this game is that you don't have to put up with that "I got next!" bs. You can play the game whenever and however you want.

WOW, this is coming out this week! The only thing I wish would change is the turtle design to go back to the beloved 90s design (or have DLC which allows players to switch skins) - besides that, cannot wait for this to come out!

My nostalgia is based on the actual game itself...I've played this game in the actual arcades, mostly because it's one of the few games that capture the golden days of beat-em-ups that's sorely missing in today's amusement centers (I'm looking at you, Dave n' Busters!). It's no Turtles in Time, but it captures the old-school TMNT experience big time. I'll be buying this and hopefully I'll find three other turtles to beat the crap out of Foot Clan soldiers all over again.
Played this game with my sons at a trampoline park, then found it on vacation and played it again at the condo complex we were staying at. We loved it, but the machine are my money quickly. Looking forward to this release without having to worry about that. Happy to give my money on a preorder for this one, and for $30.00 when I was expecting $50.00, I’ll take it in a heartbeat.

@KIrvin_The_Scholar I would say it's like a better Reshelled, the game took roughly 40 minutes to beat but supposedly this new port will add six new levels and bosses so I assume it'll be given an additional hour to finish
I had thought about in this series when Shredder knocked out Splinter unconscious and then in front of the turtles he threw him down a whirlpool then later rescued by Karai as a serpent

We got the 80's turtles and now we got the 2012 Turtles. I hope we can get a return of the 2003 turtles since the GBA days of them.

The 2012 series is part of my childhood. I actually have a similar game to this on the 3ds. I can't wait to play this new version.
This one never came to the 3DS, though. It's an arcade exclusive from 2017.

Yeah, this game and they recently released the complete show on DVD as well. Preferred this incarnation of TMNT to the recent one.
