Thank you for the tour I have always had a special interest in flying boats I am from the UK but I did have the privilege of looking around the interior of Kermit Weeks Sunderland at Fantasy of Flight many years ago and appreciated his tours of the Martin Mars on TH-cam I was not aware of this Solent in your possession and I assume you were streaming this which would explain the poor quality of the video personally I would love to see this again in HD with good audio it would be an important record of this rare aircraft.
Thank you! Yes this was a live Zoom session, recorded during the county's coronavirus mask-up requirement for businesses, so we made due. But a high resolution re-shoot of this tour and others is definitely planned. We'll make sure to message you when it's live.
@@Matt_from_Florida Hi Matt, I do not think so we were there around 1997 and I was with my wife I remember there was not many people there and I talked to one of the staff about a film called Treasure of the Humbolt Glacier the subject of which was a tragically failed attempt to recover a B29, here is a YT link to that film : th-cam.com/video/TmUc9C16RI0/w-d-xo.html
In 2005 (plus or minus a couple years) I looked all over the inside of a VERY SIMILAR flying boat at *Fantasy of Flight* in Florida. I had a video of it until that computer's hard drive self destructed.

I met a man who was here from the UK aboard that flying boat in the mid-2000's. You?
