Dude, this ride looked amazing, and your spoken word was great too. Poetry in motion. I'm heading up to Tahoe this weekend, got this on my hopeful list. Love going back and watching your old videos to get me scouted, focused, and stoked!
I almost headed up to Santa Cruz this week, but instead planted myself in Morro Bay for a few days to check out the riding here. So far so good - this place is beautiful - would love to meet up in SC or another location!
Sweet! Enjoy Morro. We ride Mammoth next week, but anytime after that we can show you some of the local trails in SC. You are blessed to live in such a great state with so many recreational opportunities.
Next time you ride it just stay on Corral (don’t take the Sidewinder cutoff). The upper half of Corral has great rock gardens, a few drops and lots of those little side rock hits.

Ha sweet! This was one of my first vids - I should rewatch it. Enjoy!
That looks like a dream descent! Thanks again for capturing the ride! Come ride with us in Santa Cruz!

Nice! I'll be riding that again next week. The slab you bypassed at 9:05 is really easy and fun--but first time by yourself is tough. Next time!
👊

Good stuff thanks!
Turned on the wrong street at the end, not Willow but Tamarack👌🏽 Glad you enjoyed my neck of the woods.👍🏽
Ahhhh gotcha - can’t wait to get back there. 👍
I know a few other 14+ ml trails around the lake without the 2 hour climb if you’re ever back.
Great video I did this ride from Star lake last year
Armstrong down to Corral is more fun than Mr. Toads.
I haven't done Mr. Toads yet, but this ride was epic in itself. ;)
Nice man!
Thanks!
Killer video, im going to get up there asap. Where did you start and park?
Check the links under the video or look up all of that on Trailforks. I think I got a local shuttle for this ride - was a long time ago.
Thanks for the video. What a great ride! I loved your soundtrack in this video btw. Care to share? Thanks again.
Thanks! The music was from youtube's library. I have to update this - so much has changed since then.
The Outsider MTB - Thanks for the reply. I rode Fullerton Loop this morning and was hoping to see Pip running around...lol.
I loved this trail but I remember being tired AF after the ride
Me too!!! Haha it's a long one.
