I had mine removed one at a time I pretty much kept them until they started causing problems, I wasn't loopy or anything, I was passd the fuvk out from the pain killers, I have a very low threshold/tolerance for any kind of pain. My dentist, every time I have to have something pulled or major done he's like get the pain killers filled beforehand that way you can take one as soon as the novocaine wears off.
Most often they come in and it causes over crowding and pain and come in crooked and cause pain. Most people's mouths can't handle them so they have them removed. If you have a few teeth missing or spaces in your teeth they just shift over and your wisdom teeth do nothing bit that's not most people
I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth romoved at once and I was fine I drove myself back home too. I was given local anesthesia and one of them still hurt like hell but I wasn't loopy. I felt the removal of one I still remember the sound of it coming out the root was super long and it was painful the remaining 3 didn't hurt.

The nurse said that only happens to teenagers I was an adult so I would be fine. And I was. Unfortunately I didn't get loopy when I had mine out last summer because I need a special anesthetic to be knocked out.
