I’ve been watching you for a long time now from the very beginning because of your blackmagic content and much more 🤌🏽 glad to see you’re still in the grind! 👏🏽 would love to see you get your hands on a Pyxis 👀
@@MODESTYXO205 well I’ve never owned the R5mkii and never used it. I own the R5 though and I have used the FX3 so if I went off that merit then hands down the FX3. This is of course if you’re basing your question solely based off video needs. If you’re a hybrid user I’d say R5 or definitely the R5mkii.
I shoot corporate video with my friend he has a FX3 and I have a R5C. They match up well in my opinion. I love the footage that comes out of the FX3. I still would choose the R5C.
That's awesome! Yeah I'm just so invested in canon stuff that it's hard for me to make the switch. I actually just picked up a C300mkii like I said in the video. Want to try and push this camera like I try and push other older cameras because damn...the C300mkii has some pretty decent specs and I tried looking stuff up and didn't really find any good use of the camera. Except for one person on here was shooting some nice stuff with it, which ultimately gave me the reason to jump on it.
@@alexshottheseI totally understand the investment in EF lenses I only have 2 L series lenses 1 EF and 1 RF. I never thought lenses would lose value until Canon made the move to RF, my canon EF 70-200 2.8iii was my first huge purchase I definitely won’t get what I paid for it. It’s still an amazing lens so I kept it!! I plan moving on to buy cinema glass.
Yes you’re right. Looks like the prices are about to go up on everything due to the election and imports possibly being taxed. So ultimately your EF investment and decision to keep them was a great decision. ( I love that part in your short film when the sound goes off and comes back on when they get to the door of the building!!🔥🔥🔥)

The Goat is BACK!!!
@@WaywardNorth STHAP, you’re too kind.
Bro lowkey look like Steph Curry
Great content. If you had to purchase a camera out of the two, would you choose the sony fx3 or Canon R5 Mark 2

@JosephRossPhotography EF lost its value when canon said they aren’t producing any more new EF lenses.

Lens !?
That I shot this on?
@alexshotthese yeah
@motorsports4021 sigma 35mm 1.4
So you shot this at 2500 ISO slog3 for highlights?
The short film was primarily shot at 12,800 in slog3. The talking head of this video was shot on the C300mkii.
