While many students enroll at Harvard just after graduating high school, the College is home to students of many different backgrounds. This includes a close-knit community of veteran students who served their country before deciding to attend college.

This is truly inspiring. I am currently serving active duty in the Air Force and it would be a dream, when I get out, to go to a school like Harvard

It seems like Harvard is the least military friendly university.

Wow, this has been posted since 11 Nov 2021 and has a little over 1000 views. This creates frustration, because I would have liked to see more views.
Please keep inspiring and do not let this momentum die. Create more “creative” videos, after all, you two have made it and your there. MAKE IT HAPPEN MARINES!

Unfortunately, today's generation of veterans don't take advantage of the GI Bill and consider a real college education after they get out at the same rates as, say, the World War II generation. And instead get suckered into for-profit scam degree mills.

I was a major screw up in HS and JuCo, so I enlisted in the USAF. Came back, got the grades and got acceptance letters from universities that I never even dreamed of attending...Reed, U. Chicago, Harvard, Stanford, and the University of California. For financial reasons, I chose the University of California, Davis. My post USAF CV must have looked pretty good to admissions boards. I went from a dumb blues singer who should have been kicked out of HS to a BA, BS, MA, MPA, and PhD. I couldn't have ever dreamed that was possible. The only limits you have are the ones you impose upon yourself.

These are harvard students who ended up as marines not marines who ended up at harvard, hate to say it you almost certainly have no chance at acceptance
