I cannot express how much I adore the way they are absolutely serious and do not at all take themselves seriously. ❤❤❤❤❤❤ I suppose it takes intelligence to be able to laugh at oneself...? WTF ever, it's HILARIOUS
When they sing "a mirar la foca" (looking at the seal), you should know that in italian "foca" (seal) is very similar to "fica" (slang for "p**sy"), and is often used as a less vulgar substitute for it, so the line has a double meaning
Rule number one of a reaction to Nanowar of Steel: Do NOT try to drink a drink while reacting to their songs. It will come back to haunt you. Rule two: listen to their lyrics and try to suppress your laughter.
Did you get the early Norwegian Black Metal references. There were a series of wooden stave church burnings in Norway in the early 1990s. Fantoft Stave Church being the most famous. The guy who was allegedly responsible was Varg Vikernes who was tried for murder of another musician and the church arson attacks. He was found guilty of the murder and most of the church arson attacks. They burn his picture in the video.
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 I can't stop smiling!😁 Not taking themselves seriously and yet do! I absolutely love musicians who create a gem like this with hysterical lyrics, great rhythm and a video which leaves you speechless and laughing all at once! Thankyou Cosmic...laughter is the best medicine!😂

They have a song about astronomy. Naturally it's called "Uranus". Pasadena 1994 requires knowing stuff about the World Cup final in football (soccer) played between Brasil and Italy.
Such a fun reaction! Like I say, hold off on _Pasadena_ _1994_ until you've done Sabaton's _Bismarck,_ but there are plenty more to tide you over - for instance, if you like Judas Priest try _Heavy_ _Metal_ _Kibbles._ I'm not a fan of the Barbie one, but any of _Disco_ _Fever,_ _...And_ _then_ _I_ _Noticed_ _She_ _Was_ _a_ _Gargoyle,__Winterstorm_ _in_ _the_ _Night,_ or _Uranus_ will keep you going...

As a Norwegian, a massive fan of Norwegian Black Metal, and one who used to live next to the Fantoft Stave Church, this song is my all time favourite Nanowar song! So many tiny references...

I am going to watch this reaction every morning. The band is awesome. You laughing and gigling is healing! I feel like it is my birhtday. And yes my old hips did not lie this morning. I still have some moves. Thank you for reminding me, I love dancing!

They just asked: "Tell us everything you think is in the sky" and the chat responded).

Glad you're enjoying Nanowar (Of Steel !) dude. I remember the days back when the first album came up and how it was a fun, nice novelty. Seeing how far they've made it since is great. Their ability to mimic and parody different bands or music styles, the overlapping of cultures, is amazing (I remember them tagging their music as "genre-fluid" lol) and yet how some of their lyrics can be quite elaborate and so full of references. Norwegian Reggaeton is probably one of my favourite of theirs. Having been a metal head for 20 something years, being familiar with the references makes all the funnier. I just about choked on my drink when they burnt the pic of Varg (and the lip thing and the butt drum had me laughing my ass off as well). They're a great parody band and if you like them you should check out Ultra Vomit, especially anything from Panzer Surprise. Not everything metal has to be serious or dark. Keep up the good work !
Although Electric Callboy did choreographed dance in metal videos previously, Nanowar of Steel made it an art! Disco Metal (from their current album Dislike To False Metal) and Uranus feat. Michael Starr (from the US [parody] glam metal band Steel Panther) are perfect examples. Another humorous metal band is Feuerschwanz. You'd probably like their cover of the infamous 2004 summer dance hit Dragostea Din Tei (aka the Numa Numa song), original by Moldovan boy group O-Zone or the more recent Berzerkermode (from the current album Fegefeuer [Purgatory]).
