The speedo display is just fantastic. My bikes are in MPH and over here in Ireland as you know we are in Ks so this is going to help me keep my licence lol.
My usual question on these things, please. In terms of real world review, is the touch screen sensitive to heavy rain and misbehave? I ask because that's a real pain when used as a satnav and the nav starts playing up. Unfortunately, I've had this problem with other touch screen devices. Cheers & keep up the good work ... 👍
Hi. Good review, thanks Do you know the Bluetooth version? Also I notice you have a CFmoto800mt, can you tell me how many km and if you recommend to buy this bike?
This unit does NOT follow your phone if you have multiple waypoints. It can take you to a single destination but entering multiple via points is very impractical.
great review . I have just ordered one from using your discount code and am really looking forwards to get it fitted . Now one small thing . I connect the Neg + Pos to the battery great no problem. What do i connect the ACC lead to ???? I have a Yamaha FJ1200 so it doesn't have a modern fuse box or and Aux connection . I don't want to flatten my battery so please can you help. 👍👍👍👍
Two options….buy a Healtech Thunderbox and attach the Aoocci to that by linking the positive and yellow Acc together (see my Aoocci C5 Pro video for instructions) or splice the Acc wire into any ignition dependent wire (tail light, horn etc)
Can you get a ram mount to fit these as i have a ram mount , as my st1300 doesn't have conventional handlebar. doesn't show a ram mount fixing? Also are the leads for the rear camera a good length as you well know the st1300 is a lengthy beast. Would be ideal if you could measure the base plate on the unit where it bolts because ram mounts do a universal base mount . May help me and others wanting to buy....
@@thebingleywheeler I messaged them no ram base mount available, but my friend is going to 3d print a base mount. I have ordered one and used your code.👌
My unit just arrived today and yes it comes with the ram mount ready to use. Can't post a picture but it comes with three ram options of mounting. the back plate that fixes to the unit has a ram ball moulded on it already.
@@pugwashuk I did that and yes they were going to send me the remote then I noticed they changed the length of the wire on the front cameras as well and added an additional loom piece so I sent it back. Too much waiting and hassle. I am sure it is a good unit so I wish you well.
These units do not have a built in sat nav as such, what they do is 'mirror' the apps that you have on your phone. So if you currently use Google maps or Calimoto for example or any other phone app for navigation it can be used.
It will display any satnav app from your phone so you have a huge choice . It goes without saying to keep your phone charged up but most bikes now have a usb charging point or if not very easy to fit one. Garmin Satnav over £500….this unit £131 😎
Not detachable....Its a NO from me. Its like a mobile phone that i forgot it on my bike.So for sure it will be an idiot to try to steal it and make a bigger damage with the cables etc.
This device wont support calimoto. It works ok on waze and Google maps. Also the speed cannot be changed from kph to mph. Was disappointed about calimoto. Thought it was my settings but no after contacting customer support the device wont support the software its something there working on apparently, how long that is who knows. Still not a bad device for the money but has its flaws ,but still value for money, the camera feature downloads to memory card is a good feature. If you want all singing all dancing this device isn't for you....

Thanks Dave. Clear and interesting presentation. Regards, Mo 😊👍.
Thank you Mo
The technology is really amazing there days!
Bought one a 2 weeks ago and it came with RAM style mount for the unit, not the mount in the video 🙂👍🏻

Hi. Good review, thanks
Do you know the Bluetooth version?
Also I notice you have a CFmoto800mt, can you tell me how many km and if you recommend to buy this bike?
2250 miles no problems and great value for money
Were you able to use the cameras from the 5" unit or did you install the cameras that came with the new 6" device?
Cheers
Kevin
Cameras the same so no need to swap…5” unit will go on Moto Guzzi
Hi great review looks like a good unit,, did you do any testing with a helmet headset for voice commands via carplay or android auto.??
Yes fine with CarPlay and cardo headset
@@thebingleywheeler thankyou for confirmation

@@thebingleywheeler Great stuff many thanks . Cant wait to get it and fit it to my bike. 👍👍👍
just a quick question on the price landed to uk, is there any additional tax to pay on delivery above the purchase price?
No all taxes are included at purchase

Rear camera lead plenty long enough loads of slack left on the CF….as for the mount plate I’ll need to check
@thebingleywheeler cheers buddy. If I can get a ball mount definitely buying one.

It's a great pity they changed the package recently and now do not send out remote controllers with a purchase. Ask me how I know?
Email them, I did and they sent me the remote free of charge

Can you play calimoto through the aocci?
Calimoto won't work . I contacted customer support and they confirmed it... software update coming whenever that is.
Is there a way to change kilometers to miles? so far, I have nit been able to figure it out.
what is "Carpaly" ? ;-)
Just to let you know i cant afford to buy the unit that you have .
Are we saying that these will do away with a satnav ?

It has built in GPS. If you go to the website you can see it states GPS on the rear of the device.

Yeah I raised an eyebrow when he mentioned that. Not all apps are available via AA/Carplay. If you have it in your car you can test.
