It's Ubisoft. I expect it's future is as bright as Ghost Recon's is. I would love for it to be brighter but I have no faith in Ubisoft since Tom Clancy's passing. 😢

Imagine if breakpoint had blacklists movement and melee with AC's climbing, toss in actually good AI and ghost recon might have been successful.

Great editing, but if the next SC is like this, I would be pissed. Then again, I've basically given up on Ubisoft making a great game ever again.
Why would you be pissed? I tried to make it feel nostalgic. I tried replicating the old school gadgets and all that good stuff. Kept it clean and not too crazy.

There's no climbing.
The shooting is as simple as a point-and-click.
The sound design is bad, including a blatantly awful lack of footsteps.
In many of the situations, you would need to knock out or kill the enemies; I prefer to bypass them (at least, for one playthrough.)
The lighting is relatively bad (no interesting shadows, the room quickly brightened after the light was shot.)
The enemies spend seconds in a state of shock after hearing a gunshot or witnessing a shooting (yet, civilians react instantly.)
The enemies are deaf and blind.
To be clear, the problem is in Breakpoint's design/execution, not that you did a poor job.
I agree as far as the open world aspect. Splinter Cell should not be open world. It goes against the whole "get in, get out, get gone" way of operating.
@@lincolnpascual, that's what the Ghosts are supposed to do. They are meant to be the tip of the spear, not the entire thing.
@@Go_Coup yeah, but not Splinter Cells... They're espionage, and their missions are far more focused. Open world doesn't world with that as well. As good a game as MGS5 was, it was barely espionage. The reason Chaos Theory is still regarded as the best Splinter Cell game is because it struck the perfect balance between an open world and mission focused game play. If the next Splinter Cell goes all in on an open world, it might as well be another Ghost Recon. Far better would be to do it like chaos theory- "here's a big facility (stage). Here are your objectives. Here are your tools. Get it done."
Don't get me wrong- i like the open world format... FOR GHOST RECON. It makes sense. But the same way looter shooter works for the Division, but not Ghost Recon, open world works for Ghost Recon... it won't work for Splinter Cell.
That first takedown was way too long and way too loud. Lol. But awesome video man.

Nice editing but people need to stop taking this game as an example. Stealth in Breakpoint is trash, the AI sucks and the level design is terrible, this game is an insult to the slow methodical and hardcore stealth Ubisoft used to do 20 years ago in the first Splinter Cell games.
