Disgaea: Hour of Darkness - Weapon Special Moves

- NOTE: THE PURPOSE OF THIS VIDEO IS NOT TO SHOW INSANE AMOUNTS OF DAMAGE OR UBER STATS.
This is a compilation of all the special moves from all the weapon categories except from the Staff since the Staff doesn't have any specials. It goes in weapon order: Fist, Sword, Spear, Bow, Gun, and Axe.
I find most of these special moves to be better than Disgaea 2's specials, which I will do a compilation of soon.

Majin arguably has the best attack voice clips. I just wanna see all Weapon Attacks with the Majin and hear his badass voice all the time.
For me its the Warrior class especially equipped with the axe. "Tey, sey, sey, I'll finish this, BEGONE!"
I'm having a lot of fun with this game, but honestly, I can't wait to progress to the later titles with the updated art style and animations.

After the first three tutorial battles you can create your human characters in the Dark Assembly if you have enough Mana. Mana is collected by killing other monsters.
Thanks, man. I was trying to trying to see if any of the axe skills have AoE but looks like I'll have to give it magic.

they have low res and lack the lighting effect, plus the screen goes black when performing the skills, unlike the original where they are perfomed on the stage
but beyond the low quality and black screen they are exactly the same
skills in hour of darkness can beat all those in cursed memories any day

I think you need to show monster specials too, I mean, some of them are pretty cool.

I think what he meant was why the ninja didn't die from PULLING UP HIS ENEMIES ALONG WITH THE GROUND THEY'RE ON, PROCEEDING TO FLY THEM , AND HIMSELF, RIGHT INTO THE BLOODY SUN. Of course, we could always handwave that to being how ridiculously evasive the ninjas were back in the first game.
Saved the best for last. Although you should have used the male fighter. So he can say "I'll finish this. Begone!"

That's a lot of damage you have there.
Of course, I deal 70 to 1400 million damage on my Disgaea 4 file, but there is the fact is have Chara World...

@UltimaWeapon786 You have have to get certain characters up to level 200. Getting some of the characters is a bit more of a chore in Disgaea HOD than Disgaea 2, but it's worthwhile...but not important, you know?

I must say your best damage was with the bow o.o the was preety good to or maybe it wasnt im not sure ive only played the game once for like 5 seconds so im getting for psp now :P

my friend who played this game was a real pro, most of his char was 9999, he said it was the limit and their was alot of cool moves. i feel so sad that i didn't get to play this game earlier..... nice vid btw
must tell you that you have played this game for quite an qhile, and rock at it! i´ve played about 50 hours, and after looked at this video i have to play at least 250 more hours to beat you :P

for low lvl characters (around lvl 10-40)
you should train by 6-4 writhing shadow
, for characters around lvl 50 you should train by 14-1 field of virtue exp +100 %
,for characters lvl 100 and somewhat higher better train by cave of ordeal 3 (you need first to pass the bill cave of ordeal) and for more higher lvls you need to train in demonhall mirror(demonhall mirror is only avaible in disgaea ds) i hope this will help ;)
Is there a way you can level your weaponry skill faster than just attacking your allies who are standing on invincibility squares?
One I do like from Disgaea 2 is the Boomerang Axe skill...

Woah..There's lot of difference btwn Etna's voice in PS2 and in DS..In Ps2, she sounds...too serious, i don't know. In DS, she sounds just like a little girl and more animated..o.0

I played the PS2 Disgaea first and I actually prefer that voice to the DS/PSP versions. I don't really like how a few things changed in the remakes. Not that I'm knocking this game. It is made of pure awesome!
9999 is not the limit. The technical limit (where you don't get any bonuses anymore, really) is around 218k total level. There's something called transmigration that makes Disgaea great, you can return a character to level 1 of a different class BUT with higher base stats!

wow im playing hour of darkness on the ds and rele the voice acting, music, and graphics are better. I don't understnad why they couldnt improve the graphics cuz disgaea is only 64 mb
to get a majin you need a male brawler,a male warrior,thief,ninja and strider all at lvl 200 (at the same time)and then you can create majin

Yeah, I know, the best way to do it though is to create a monster set of leveled items. That way a level 1 monster could kill lv.100s without too much of a problem.
Just use your god characters to bust through the item levels.

I think your thinking about the PSP version. This is the PS2 version. (Where Etna has a much better voice then the lame PSP one. :p)

This sound and voices are quite... different, ie, etna voice is alot deaper and has no enthusiasm "die... yeah (whatever)" Is this the PS2 version? i've only heard the PSP.
