Spillway Float Fishing With Corn

- There's just nothing quite like floating your bait in the slack water next to the current and waiting for the float to disappear - especially when the action is this hot!
After seeing a multitude of carp swimming around the last time I visited the Elmore Weir, I headed back on this day with one of my bait fishing rods and some corn to clean up the river a bit! The action was red hot, and I finished the session with 12 carp landed. Sadly there was no sign of a silver perch today, but I had loads of fun helping eradicate some pests from the waterway.

So many carp and so skinny, they must be ravenous.
Lovely spot there was out there couple days ago , space of 5 - 6 hours pulled out close to 40 carp , and 2 real nice silvers , 30cm and nice and fat too , then had a few casts with the soft plastics and snagged a nice reddie
