@@kcmumlife it worked!! I'm so happy!! :-)) tasted so good! mine were I think a tiiny bit bigger than yours, so I needed to boil them a very quick 2nd time! but it worked just fine, thanks so much! :)
@@kcmumlife yes, I have another question though: If I made too much, what to do with the rest? Put it in the fridge? CanI leave it outside? Will it then be hard again and do I have to cook it again? So many questions:)
Thank you! I was tryna make pearl milk tea by myself and used those white big tapiokas and then saw in other videos that I had to calm it. So thanks for sharing!
@@kcmumlife it worked! I tried boba once and it was delicious i asked my mom if we could make boba and she said Yes while i was looking for tapioca powder i saw pearls and this video was realy helpful
I will try this now and update you guys later :) Update: They taste really good mine are not clear because I bought some colored ones I’m and I did half the ingredients because I didn’t want much but still ended up with some left I hunk you can store them in he fridge til the next time you want some I mean at least that is what I did overall like them!
I got this but the pearls are green instead. I want to add them to juice fruit tea. Do I have to add sugar. And how much sugar and what's the process with sugar thank you
Perhaps they were overcooked? What I do is boil them for just 5 mins then turn the heat off and leave them in the hot water for 10 mins or less (depending on how quickly they cook). Then rinse them under cold running water to stop the cooking process. 😊
1. 5 min boil
2. 10 min rest in hot water
3. done ✨
(thanks, I'm gonna try that now, wish me luck, 1st time)
Make sure to rinse them in cold water once ready to stop the cooking process. Good luck! Thank you. 😊

@@kcmumlife so, for me it was:
1. 5 min boil
2. 10 min rest in hot water
3. max. 5 minutes (I think it was only 3 or so) boil again,
done ✨🤗

thank you! left you package
Thanks! I always screw up cooking this.
hi! can you put these in milk tea?:) if so, do you add anything to the tapioca pearls? like sugar or something else?
Yes you can! Yes, I believe you can. Although for milk tea, the bigger ones would be better. I would usually add sugar syrup or honey. :)
Can I grind the pearls into starch then make bigger balls and cook them?
Sorry I'm not sure about that one.
Have you tried it out?
Thank you
Welcome!

Yes you can add sugar. I personally add honey or simple syrup after it is cooked and then just scoop some into my drink.
@@kcmumlife hello do they take on the sirup wel? Can I use fruit sirup to make them fruity? Or even cook then in water with fruit sirup?
@@Sunshine-Dragon I guess you could try. They don't have flavour on their own. Would take after the flavour in water you cook them in or syrup.
Hi I thought tapioca pearls was boba ? xx I’m confused lol
Yes I this they are the same.
@@kcmumlife Oh okay xx
Boba is made from these tapioca pearls' starch. It's made into a dough and cooked in brown sugar or other sweetener.
How do you use this for tea?
I just add it to whatever kind of tea I like though usually the bigger ones for bubble tea. You can put honey or simple syrup to sweeten it.
It smashes all sago while I cook, I want transparent sago like this I vl try
Are they already sweetened?
No. You can put simple syrup or honey to sweeten them up after cooking.
Mine gets all gooey and some aren't cooked yet while others are
Sorry to hear that. I'm not sure. Perhaps there wasn't enough water or not mixed well so they were not evenly cooked.
Or it's a mixed package of old and new...#NotToDoThat
mine break? what do I do wrong I tried cold and warm water

mine just aren’t deciding to be clear 😠

Neutral
It's more of a texture thing
Mine won’t cook!!!!
