Ditch & John Deere 14T Baler Knotter Update

- Rained off and on today but did get the knotters back on the baler. Turns good up to a point then stops. Turning the flywheel by hand but can't really tell what is binding. Gonna need someone to turn flywheel while I watch knotters. Looks like it might be a pin jamming on the trip dog.

That ditch sure held up good 👍. I'm glad to see you got everything back together, I'd be willing to bet you'll get er all figured out. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Tim yeah I was really surprised. We have had a lot of rain lately. Think there is a pin jamming the trip dog. It will rotate clockwise but jams counterclockwise. Where the is looks like it's hitting.

Man yeah that ditch looks good, holding and draining well!! Glad the knotter is on, I wish I knew more to help, but I don't have a clue. Hopefully it's something simple and you will be throwing hay in no time!! Thank you for bringing us along, look fwd to seeing that baler in action!!

Thanks Ed think I know what is causing the binding. Looks like a pin jammed on the trip dog. Really pleased with the dirt. Got rid of the steep bank and so far no wash outs.
Those 14t's work the best when your shoving hay in them. We would push the baler and it worked great. Light hay would mess with it@
Problem I'm having is the left knotter not tying. With though the manual and adjusted everything to spec. It is a used knotter maybe worn out.
I hope you got your knotters working, those things always scared me when we worked on ours. I know we snapped a set by having them a little out of time.
