Sorry just been busy I haven’t had a chance to go online. Rebuild for 13speed roughly estimate is $3k exchange with core, for 18 is around $3800-$4k rebuild, shop location is in Brampton, Ontario Canada

Do you have a part number for the support brace that's bolted to the trans and sets on the frame rails? I'm swapping out a 10 spd for a 18 spd. Trying to have all my parts ready for the install. Thank you!!
Do you mean the two studs with nuts for the 18speed? Im not sure about the support brace all i know is there’s 2 studs on the transmission that sometimes bolted on the frame of the truck.
That main trans case looks like it had severe rust scaling before you cleaned it up, good video though .

Hi. My truck is a 10 speed manual (Eaton) the gears stock was on high range (I was told that this was a minor issue) But The mechanic told me it's a big damage, they need to rebuild it for $ 3500 without labor!!!. I agreed. Then I found out, that he replaced it with another one, that one doesn't have a cooler (my transmission had one) tell me please if what the mechanic did is right/okay?. Should I accept this transmission ( the new one without the cooler)?
He's working on the truck now, haven't finished yet.. I still have time... should I accept what he did or not?? Please reply 🙏

When your installing the back box is the gear on the back of the main box supposed to be in time as well?
No it does not

If you’re doing a 918 transmission there’s no timing on the drive gear (4300938) all you need to time is the 2 countershafts, reduction gear & splitter gear in the back box. But if it’s a 7series transmission you need to time the drive gear (4300938) to the lower gears of the 2 countershafts in the back box.

What's the difference between 18918 and 16918(which parts), is it possible to be converted?
One is 1850 torque the other one is 16k torque to convert you would have to change some few gears on the counter shafts and main shaft
