It's amazing how much you can pack into a small space. I use melamine plates and bowls - ancient ones from caravanning days - but I hate drinking coffee out of plastic or metal so my cup is glass. I'm OK with a plastic wine glass though!! One bowl, one large plate, one small plate, one cup, one glass , one fork, knife, spoon & teaspoon. Ridge monkey utensils and I found a mini set in Home bargains with a whisk, scraper and tongs all about 6 inches long! My electric kettle, pot and kettle for gas are collapsible and with the ridge monkey and a 'mini wok' are more than enough. All my 'gear' is in the summerhouse just now as my little Romahome is having a make-over. I look at the pile of stuff and think 'how is that going to fit in there'? But it will !! I need to learn how to 'youtube' before the spring too! Happy campervanning x
You're not wrong there. It never ceases to amaze us that it not only goes in but that we can always seem to find what we need easily. You just have to be super organised. As for learning to TH-cam...just pick up your phone and shoot. All our footage is shot and edited on my Samsung S20 🙂🐕🚙
Just got home late yestetday from a trip to Dorset and got straight on with my 'Windsor Watching'. Felt a bit 'post holiday' so ended up binge watching the entire channel output again. Great stuff!

I always worry that once something goes, a chain starts. Getting ready for our first long trip since 2018. Heading into the Scottish Borders first, then who knows. It was fun to see the Trangia STORMCOOKER being a kitchen companion for you. I love our Trangia STORMCOOKER T27 and my Trangia T28 Mini. Both are great choices for Van traveling. The Trangia STORMCOOKER series has a very good gas burner insert for using Propane bottles. A great option when an Alcohol burner is not the best choice as a fuel source. The Trangia "Billy Pot with Lid" is a real Game Changer for cooking and also for baking too. I'm also fond of the STANLEY ADVENTURE Series cook kits. Maybe look at some of those for your Van cooking needs. Very compact and Stainless Steel for good heat distribution. We keep sets in the Van and in my Motorcoach.
Hi. We've had that trangia set for years and used it a lot when we used to tent camp. As we now have a built in double gas hob, we just use the Pans. Due to them stacking inside each other, they're great for storing in small spaces.😊🐕🚙

I received a surprise small inheritance from a long lost cousin, I knew nothing about, so we were fortunate enough to be able to buy the Chapel Kit. I was grateful, but at the same time, very sad that my cousin, how many times removed, died alone and I never got to even know he existed. We've just had a look, but do you have a TH-cam channel? Honestly, it was so frustrating and yet so funny at the same time. Guess the directional microphone was at least good at something... It blotted out the noise from the chopper, it was so low and sooo loud! 😁🚙🐕

Hi. They are extremely useful. Like we said they are part if a meths burning stove, that still works, if we want to use them outdoors, but we believe there are stacking camping Pans like them available. So easy to use and above all store.🙂🚙🐕

Very informative video and nice to see we are all human with the washing up and technology. Gave everyone a nice giggle. It's also useful to see how you store everything in the kitchen unit. You should be on commission with Chapel and I have told them that if I purchase one it will be because of your videos- It depends now on minor changes to their standard kit to make it more suitable for me. Hi Guy’s, another great video, we also have a chapel double that I’m just fitting into our Peugeot partner, however being retired folk I’m just wondering how you both enter and exit for day and night use as I have found that the bench seats cover up most of the side door access. If you have time a video of this and what you have tried would be very helpful. And yes watching your videos made us buy the chapel kit…..so you should be on commission Lol.

It was something we were concerned about and asked other Chapel owners about their experience before we went ahead and purchased the kit. We agree a video would be a good idea to show this and we'll get onto one, maybe when we go on our planned Scotland tour shortly. Not sure if you're going to be using the bed boards as supplied or making the same change we have. The alternative setup definitely helps should you need to exit at night. Also, yes, we should be on commission, you're not the first to mention they've bought the Chapel kit after watching our videos lol. Hi Paul, really sorry about the delay in response and we hope you're enjoying your unit. We were also concerned about side access as we too are also both over 60, with all that entails. We use a small folding step and these handles from Amazon tgat fit on the headrests. So if the seats are in the upright position, we can pull ourselves up. They work great for us. Two questions if you don't mind. How much space is there between two benches if your both sitting in the van also any video of getting into the bed is it difficult at its height. Thanks. Video are great
Hii Ann thanks for watching. Regarding space between the benches when we're both sitting on them. It's not really possible to sit exactly opposite each other, as your feet would clash. We use our van slightly differently. We set up the bed bench board on the drivers side as soon as we stop on the journey. Then Bernie sits slightly more towards the front with his feet in the rear footwear. Trying to think of the best video to show us both seated and on the bed.
