He then explained that *only people who are close to the far shore can contact apparitions* and being 'close to the far shore' is either being someone who has a strong sixth sense like Kou (an exorcist) either someone who is *close to death.* So yeah -> if you can summon Hanako-kun you’re actually going to die within the next year. Not so cool, right ?
