Yes Dev Jin for example is better than him, but he's not bad (I have no clue what keep out means but it sounds smart ass) If you watch character's breakdowns, you'll know that every character is so fucking open when fought with smart ass strong opponent. Nonetheless, Steve and Hwoarang are Kazuya's worst matchups because the only way to deal with them is pressuring them back to stop their crazy tornado, instead of blocking and punish, or backdashing Kaz pressure and plus game suck, and he needs a lot of space to function, which Steve and Hwoarang are not going to afford him.

His lows aren’t launch punishable which is good, but he can’t bully you like most. Unless you know what you are doing with Steve you will get killed.

Though in Devil mode you can do something like f+1+2 (or I guess with Season 4 you could try running up with a crouch dash into WS 1+2).

i dunno i think steves pretty good but i prefer to use the more aggressive peekaboo to flicker so mean if not using alot of back strings to keep in flicker steve's actually pretty good...just see a lot of defensive flicker and its good for a back dash and fades fast so can move into next string but get what ppl saying from a defensive/flicker can be very hard to pin down.

Steve is my secondary main and goddamn is this guy insane, his conversions were incredible.
