Coincidence? Don't you find it a bit funny, and maybe just a wee tad sad, that here we are, trying to wrap our brains around such Sci-Fi concepts as AI, universe simulation theory, time travel....
When most of us haven't even considered the ramifications of some of the other amazing things we've been working at for quite some time now. Take for instance, The fact that doctors have, for decades, been causing patients to fall asleep, then removing up to 6 ribs at a time for bone marrow transplant and DNA research.
Yet many of these scientists deny that someone long ago and much more advanced than us could have done the same thing only much better. I am referring of course to the biblical account of God making Eve after causing Adam to fall asleep and removing one of his ribs.
The scientists take ribs because they are the only bones out of the 206 bones in the human body that grow back if carefully removed. Biblical coincidence? Primitive, superstitious wild guess?
And what about humans and their track record of making robots? I mean, we started by copying bugs, the simple ones. Then it was on to creating animalian styled robots and finally, on to androids. "we" are now attempting to create men and women in our own image, complete with even more artificial intelligence than our own. Often, without the slightest realization that our Creator did it all first, just as He said He did....starting with the simpler creatures, right on up to....us.
Technically speaking, we are AI. Intelligent, self aware beings designed by our Creator. I mean, let's face it. And we've gone rogue, collectively speaking. Actually, there exists a third of heaven that followed the first one to go rogue, before us.
So here we sit, pondering the 'finer' points of what used to be sci-fi. Take for instance, time travel....
All while the Inventor of it, chuckles at the wee ones. Even if one subscribes to the crudely, linear time concept of evolution, one fails to consider that even IF (epicly weak and feeble "if" btw) God had a beginning.... such possibility is negated, made moot, totally irrelevant, after He invents time travel.
Such a Being, could then travel far forward, learn exponentially, go far back and even change Himself and His beginning... becoming immortal.
Essentially, the first One to control time, controls everything else. No longer any beginning, or end. He IS the Alpha and Omega, in part because He's been there, both ways. Seen it all. The best and worst of it ALL. Such a Being would be unfathomably wise, and presumably lonely. Yet, as will be shown, God did not "evolve" through linear time. And neither did His creation.

Sadly in the UK, since December '22, you can only fly while maintaining unaided line of sight, ie, no binoculars, telescopes or on screen map orientation. If you fly FPV you require a spotter stood with you in order to meet the requirement. You have to be able to determine the orientation of the craft at all times. With the size of the DJI minis, that means a distance restriction of maybe only 150-200 yards.
But you are allowed to use navigation lights and if you have the A2 CofC then adding 3 cree strobes will aid your VLOS no end and actually further than the old max of 500m, anyhoo, that aside, there was no reason for your reply, none at all lol
Same story in Canada and the US need a spotter for FPV, also 400 foot max high……

There's no way in hell that the Mini 4 will have a 2 inch sensor. It will probably get the same 1 inch sensor as the Air 2S has. That prediction was so far off base that I stopped watching at that point.

Did you just watch the video? The sensor is twice as big with 4 times the resolution, the range is doubled, higher capacity battery, and 3 axis stabilized gimbaling. You call that just as good?

i like my dji mini 3 pro, as its my first drone ive owned or used. but its soo cool. and creative possibilities have me impressed, although the mini 4 specs may sway me to upgrade already, but just the drone i have the remote with the built in screen already. I have the Mini SE and Mini 3 Pro. Both fine in wind. The Mini 3 Pro wobbles in wind, its shaped differently.
New one upgrade means new features. Mini 4 will come up with new upgraded features and solve any problem that you are facing in mini SE and Mini 3 pro

The mini lineup is entry level and if you are really into footage you buy something else so the camera upgrades are "meh".
The flight time is expected to increase with every model so nothing here.
The flight distance of 22km is impressive but one wonders for how long you'll be able to go that far. More and more countries are implementing various laws and at the place I reside now the maximum distance I can (legally) fly is up to 2km from the starting point. I could probably go further but that would involve requesting permissions from aviation agency. Sooner or later the whole thing will be heavily regulated globally, it has to be.

The Mini 3 Pro was my first and last 250 gram drone. Way too light on windy days and with fewer downward facing sensors, I’m almost always forced to guide it in for a precision landing. What DJI really needs to do is have built in anti-collision lights and make it weigh under 250g with prop guards so it falls under Category 1, allowing you to fly over people.

Just bought a Mini 3 Pro with accessories that I am going to return for a full refund due to DJI’s failure to release it’s SDK so 3rd party software companies (ie Dronelink, Litchi) can release autonomous waypoint software that will work with more expensive RC controllers. DJI promised to release SDK in 2022 then “changed its mind” and told all the consumer grade purchasers, go buy an enterprise grade drone. Watch out for this same treatment on the Mini 4. DJI Mini 3 offers no waypoint flying software software with Mini 3 Pro.
Although I didn't have high expectations for a mini drone, I do think that we were deceived in regards to the software aspect. They could have provided us with more advanced features and functions.

The mini 3 was just released a few months ago and far as I know it does everything the mini 2 does and more with the vertical video and the ability to shoot up. As far as the distance maybe cool but we can’t fly our drones the distance because we have to have line of sight

No one buys a drones to fly that close. Most will will fly miles away. Not like cops gonna pop out and write you a ticket. Lol.

Bottom line, it comes down to price. If you bring the mini lower then a 1000$ cdn, packages bundles , then it’s worth considering. One of the big reason why mini was popular was price point, that started to go up in the last couple of models
