- USA 6.0 feels much less painful than Germany 6.0...it's probably because I'm more used to this BR now but I was having a much nicer time with the Americans than I did last time I played 6.0 with the Germans plus you have American CAS to support you! There are definitely parts in this video that will make me look like I haven't learnt anything but in the heat of the moment, I made a few bad mistakes 🤣 (e.g. the jumbo...). Enjoy!

11:42 The Jumbo can be identified if you look at the mantlet, its way more flat and thick compared to other shermans with triangular cutouts on the bottom sides of it. Hope this helps you ID them (:

get the M109! Its so much fun if you know how to use it correctly, It kills EVERYTHING if you aim for the roof. (Except Ferdinand/Elefant, they have a perfectly flat roof and is extremely hard to kill with M109)
But i do reccomend researching the actually GOOD tanks first, like the M26, T26 and T34. The M41 is usable, but not my favorite for lack of APHE. But if you want nimble tanks with good firepower, the M56 is the BEST. Just lacks any amount of armor whatsoever.

can't wait for you to get to 6.7 germany and the tiger 2 H. I started off germany but swapped over to usa when I got to the tiger 1, recently went back and got the 2H and it is monster. I think you'll enjoy it a lot, super stable suspension so on the move shots are very viable, and great gun handling too.
Dude once you get the 76 Jumbo you will realize truly how great 6.3 is, if you have a full lineup it’s probably one the best lineups in the game.
The plane request was so worth it 😂 but in all fairness its like a totally different game to ground, once you get the hang of it you will be unstoppable. Remember that you are using a lower br plane which main strength is turn fighting, so you don't want to rely on your speed or energy over your opponents. Great work on the ground with scouting, the more scout assists you get the easier your plane will be to spawn. For ground now you just got to learn about what tanks you will fight and what you can and can't kill. Your lineup is strong, I would recommend bringing some of the HEATFS rounds in the m36b2 Jackson, in which case the HE rounds would be useless. They have enough pen to front plate almost anything you will fight but lack the one shot potential of the m82 shot so its important to have both. To make the lineup stronger and more versatile I would recommend bringing a closed top tank like the 76 shermans or m6 which have stabilizers allowing you to get the first shot on an opponent in awkward situations. Your AAA skills are really good just remember to use the right ammo belt, the m19 and m42 can switch ammo belts almost instantly to be more effective at air kills (HE) or ground kills (AP). Sorry for the wall of text, I hope some of this helps you or the viewers. At this rate you will be a pro by the end of the year! Keep it up👍
Man, you schould try the "Jagdpanther G1". It has a thick armor, a very big gun and good speed (when upgraded). But keep your enemys at distance, because some heavys like the american T34 can penetrate the front quite easily...Happy huntig!

ELC is by far one of my favorite vehicles to play, even considering it's HEAT ammo is mediocre at best, and takes time to learn. Delphine panther is fun(it's not the best panther, but has good turret traverse), and boy, that mini Foch is a glass cannon, she's just built different.
My favorite lineup right now is France 6.0. it's so unique, but also not bad. :)

Map knowledge, enemy weakness and knowing your firepower are the 3 main things that well atleast helped me get good. Knowing your armor is irrelevant to me as anything will still pen ya. Great game btw loving the journey.
The plane was both hilarious and hurt so much, you deadass said American CAS was top tier at the start of the video then your CAS of choice is a German energy fighter that’s two whole battle rating down from where you are, and then died to an American plane. Had me gagging in a fun way
Hey just wanted to mention the tier 3 is one of if not the most frustrating tier of german nation since most tanks are at 6 and 5.7br you get uptiers alot but if you get to tier 4 unlock tiger 2 h because its one of the most fun and op heavy tanks in the game for the br and it gets downtiered alot and the gun is fantastic+the armor is almost unpenable in downtier
it does not get downtiered alot. i can count the downtiers i've had in it on one hand.
Yea USA 6.0 is kinda cracked, the M18 Hellcat in particular you could take to 8.0 and use it like it's nobody's business.
That thing was a menace when it was added to the game and it continues to be one today.
SPAAs are not really the US' thing though, they're usable but not very good.
For going ahead on Germany, I'd say try out the M109G at 6.0 or the JpZ 4-5 at 6.3. They're post-war vehicles, albeit with limitations (JpZ is a casemate that doesn't have access to APHE, so you'll need to aim for crew with the HEAT-FS, while M109G is a big old howitzer with crazy strong HE but poor ballistics and long reload time), so they will give you a glimpse on what your playstyle will look like once you're past the Tiger 2s and into the Cold War era - move fast, aim precisely, avoid exposure.
Other than that, the Jagdpanther is crazy strong for a 6.0 TD with strong frontal armor, very workable mobility and a very strong and lethal gun.
Video suggestion: M8 LAC (reserve Chinese tank) only machinegun challenge. You must take no rounds and shoot the round in your barrel when the match starts. The MG is a 12.7mm at 1.0 BR so you'll still be able to pen a lot of things.

The main reason why US feels a lot nicer as a second country to grind is that you’re now familiar with weak points, and you should also be able to appreciate that many of the US tanks have stabilizers in those BRs that other nations do not.
m18s are great starter vehicles yes but they work almost throughout the battle if you position yourself properly. i would rather take out the m36 or whatever its called first because its very vulnerable as the battle goes on. also planes are tough i would suggest putting in some work to learn them. 109s arent exactly noob friendly because theyre more of a jack of all trades type vehicle so you really need to know your enemy before flying in. go for more mainline american vehicles like the legendary p 47 or p 51 both you just fly straight in keep your speed up and make passes. usa is the best for aircrafts imho.
(tip: upgrade only the pilot skills like g lock or stamina keen vision vitality. do not upgrade the gunners first get stamina and g lock as high as possible because it makes or breaks your game trust me.)

Heres some tips, German 6.0 always gets uptiered to 6.7, sames true for the US, but that also makes 6.7 US and Germany amazing, Tiger 2s are the kings of their BR if you know how to play them (same goes for tiger 1s but not many know how to play them) in terms of playstyles, Tiger 1s and 2s play defensively to get kills, due to the light mobile flanking nature of american tanks, offensive pushes will get you killed from the sides.
What you need for your lineup is mostly normal tanks that arent open-top. It doesnt matter if it actually has fairly good armor, the roof just instantly kills it from overpressure
for germany get the Fw 190 F-8 it is the best cas plane at 6.0 (it is 5.0 in Br)
the plane sounds are way worse then they used to be. sometimes it sounds like they are right above you but really they are far away, or they are right above you but you cant hear them
You might want to switch the M42 to M16 at 2.7, despite being armed with only 50 cals, it does better as an AA than the M42 and M19
Always expert your crews. You need to spend some money to get them to 25 first. The best upgrade you can do in this game is get good crews. Focus on the bottom of each crew member skill. Reload,leadership,range find,accuracy. Ect

Lol cause it is, 6.0 and up American bias becomes an actual thing, I see alot of people screaming germanium and Stalinium bais, but that Abrams is no joke at high teir and any jumbo Sherman and any heavy Pershing can be a nightmare to deal with if the player knows how to use it, they on tap tiger2s like nothing

i remember the m18 being 4.7 too my knowledge the only thing different about it now compared to back then is we have overpressure now and the m18 has like 40more HP. odd how that and germany crying for years put to up by 1.3 BR
can you even call it crying? i mean the m18 at 4.7 is ridiculous work, and its effective range is all the way up to 8.0 (though im not saying to move it there, obviously.) 6.0 is a decent br for it, although i'd've preferred it stayed at 5.7
@@shronkler1994 the problem as I see it is that power creep is never considered. Overpressure is what I'm talking about. The problem goes way back before we hadit and had hull break. Since super light armor doesn't trigger the fuse it'd take something like 4 shots to kill a vehicle like this. So it's stats likely got inflated. Then hull break was scraped (thankfully) now we have overpressure which is fine, but you don't even need to hit open tops directly to cause it to go off. But my bottom line is that this vehicle became weaker by having more options to deal with it and its only gone up in br. Like the 40 more hp caused it to go up from 5.7. Same story for the t20 except for overpressure it's engine was nerfed because it was too fast. Even though it was historically accurate (to my knowledge) the they fixed the ufp from 75mm RHA to 63mm CHA and it to continued to go up. It doesn't make sense to nerf something and raise its br. This leads to snail lying about battle efficiency being the only metric for br balancing. The t20 being 6.3 is insane . And it only got apcr since it became 6.3 because it was under performing. It doesn't even have smoke shells likeits supposed to.
These are just 2 examples of the bs they do to usa. This rant doesn't include the UK problem.

The late ww2 German tanks are mostly big slow, heavily armed and armored. They play much better as medium to long range sniping and defensive tanks. That play style isn’t always the most fun. I love tanks like the hellcat which are fast and nimble, flanking and moving.
I haven't even watched even 25% of the video yet, but please play the begleitpanzer 57. Most bullshit fun tank I've played in War Thunder.....

Ground RB is just Air RB with extra steps. The game expects you to jump into a plane at the first opportunity, which is why they are so cheap.
Ground vehicles just exist to be farmed by planes.
If you’re only playing for tanks, you’re just setting yourself up for frustration.
I can tell you’re pretty new tbf but if you ever want to play I got around 2k hours at this point I could teach you a few basics and a good way to identify different tanks!
Just wait till you get to 6.7 Germany you pretty much get up tierd every game. Think i won about 6 games outta 20 then gave up grinding Germany 😂
ive been playing for like a week or two, I've gotten to 6.0 on America, and I'm absolutely suffering. I've tried flanking, or finding a spot to hide, there is absolutely nothing I'm doing that's right nor that will get me to defeat the Tigers and Panthers. If anyone has any tips, it'd be appreciated.

you dont want to play the VF4005 ive been playing it recently, and the ,,good cannon" as you said has a really long reload time and sometimes doesnt even kill the target bc you are shooting HESH. Moreover when you are kind of alone against 2 enemies or more and kill one the others will push and kill you bc they know your reload time is as long as it is. The mobility is, as the armour, bad. you will be straved and bombed by plains. And bc your tank is so big, they and every tank on the ground will easily spot you.

Early prop planes are very rough to use in higher brs, trust me I was using 4.0 f4u when I was using br5.7 and above 😅….was killer. Thankfully I had bombs to use on enemy players.
I chose to not bring any planes for my Russian and German tech tree because I didn’t want to be bothered by grinding a while tech tree again. I’ve only used US planes.
If you do decide to use planes then it’s best to practice or watch other YTbers perspective, it’s helped me a whole lot understanding my planes. I use to get 0-1 kills every match, still do but I’ve recently been hitting 3 kills or 4. It’s a whole other ball game so don’t sweat it if you are saddened by your air performance.
The M18 is very solid. Can be used to kill planes with the 50cal. Has the 76mm. It’s a good tank, can’t do shit against high armored tanks such as tiger 2s, but it’s doable. The lack is stabilizing is a downer but it’s nothing bad. If you explore the other maps and find suitable positions for your tanks then that’ll help you immensely.
Idk if you saw my comment about the AA but it’s true, you already doing better than me too.
One thing you do need to be aware of is situational awareness, there’s always that little bastard hiding in a cheeky spot that will take care of ya lad.

No way big dawg. German 6.0 lineup is cracked. Tigers and Panthers are very strong tanks for their BR. Much better than anything USSR can field at the BR and imo stronger than USA as well, though USA gets incredibly strong 6.3 and 6.7 lineups.

The USSR stomps at most BRs, Germany, in particular at 5.7-6.0 is not even close.
