It is very respectable that Airbus mentions its arch rival Boeing for introducing the first ever commercial airliner (707). this shows a great deal of appreciation from Airbus and proves that you can be successful and still cherish your rival's legacy and contribution to your industry.

Commercial aviation is the safest form of transportation in the world today. It's far safer then driving or even rail travel. Even in countries that don't have a great record of aviation safety, you're still better off taking a plane.

Turbofan engines were introduced before 1969, the Rolls Royce Conway then the Pratt & Whitney JT3D in the early 60s

I find it ironic the plane looked like a 737 when they talked about the turbofan engines

    Dear Airbus,
I’m Lunny Cen from the International Aviation Supply Chain (IASC). I'm writing to you to ask your permission to use your video "The history of aviation safety: Putting passengers’ safety first" on TH-cam.
The IASC is a company founded with the mission to create channels of collaboration among global and Chinese aviation clusters, and bring aviation culture to China. These years, IASC has been recognized globally. In 2021, IASC signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Washington State Department of Commerce to improve access for their local suppliers to the Chinese market. In 2022, IASC signed an MoU with the European Aerospace Cluster Partnership (EACP). In doing so, we have been jointly developing effective channels of cooperation and learning between global clusters through the Global Aerospace Cluster Partnership (GACP) China Hub.
We have recently seen your video on TH-cam and would like to request permission to use this video to produce a Mandarin new clip. It will be used to promote your content at the IASC Leadership Summit and other related platforms. The video is for promotional purposes only, so we will not profit from this video and will of course credit you fully. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration!
    Sincerely,
    IASC

Trust me, I'm not a Boeing fanboy, I love both companies for what they have and will done/do, but immediately after facing criticism for their joysticks, and have been asked to change their design to mimick Boeing's they make this video, like they are trying to get rid of their own responsibility?
