I mean this not as criticism, but as encouragement- I don't feel as if there's a need for you to apologize when you do. It is very courteous of you to do so, but you haven't done anything wrong to your TH-cam audience, therefore nothing to be sorry for. (This is just my two cents- love your content!!) :)
I absolutely upvote this. And if people are hating on you for whatever reason, maybe they are just having a bad day or something. Don’t take it personally, unless it is genuine constructive feedback. Just keep strong and have faith that you will produce great fruits!
Goodness it's good to watch a rehearsal like this. As a professional opera singer, my heart came alive watching the rehearsal process with a group. I miss it so much!
Dear Tiffany, no one could ever be annoyed with you. You are soft hearted warm and gentle, and I think you must brighten up any room you are in. Claim the world, it is all yours! Best wishes.
About 40 years ago I was a young man riding trains around Europe. I spent a couple days walking around Salzburg. I loved the trees. Anyway, by pure luck I managed to get a ticket to a concert. It was a ticket turned in at the last minute by someone who was unable to attend. It was one of the best seats in the house. The program was all beethoven: his fifth symphony and the third and the fourth piano concertos. Yes, two piano concertos. Anyway, it was quite wonderful and I clearly remember my joy 40 years later. Tiffany, I have not watched any of your vlogs for over a year. Sorry. Anyway, you seem to be the same delightful young woman that I have been watching for over ten years now. Best wishes.
It’s good to hear this woman talk. She is starkly honest and builds a good relationship with her audience through the camera. I look forward to these vlogs. 🥸
I love the humor. At the moment when the most exciting sounds appear like a thunderstorm, the next moment is the total laugh trip with the mischievous piano chair ;) Art of music meets art of vlog...
yep, she's great. don't tell her that, though. Tiffany doesn't want to be a 'great' that way.... just wants to be known for her music.... hmmmm..... hard, eh?
@@L.M1792 Yep. It was sad to see her face recently when they abruptly cancelled her German concerts. She's nice. Very nice. Treading a long, hard and probably lonely road. The music she loves is what - a kind of abstract, ethereal beauty? She herself manifests a simple human beauty. She wants to subordinate the latter to the former. It's a bit ironic. She says she started 'all this' because she wanted the wider public to come to know classical musicians better but as you draw closer to her she swerves away and says 'not me, not me... the music, the music..' I am glad and happy to see an orchestra with mostly young musicians, and that Elizabeth Fuchs allowed (and even cooperated with) Tiffany's vlog. Thank you from a grateful viewer!
It's very interesting and intriguing to see how a concert pianist creates, generates and controls the energy around a performance. Of course, most of it is done in the months, and years leading up to the performance, but there is a special kind of energy that exudes. even in the quite conversations with the TH-cam audience, and it's so fun and inspiring to watch. So, many many thanks to Tiffany for having these interactive moments.
We’re way too entitled here on social media. Thank you so much for sharing your life with us. Whatever you share or leave out, we’re still thankful. This is more than enough and these are truly precious moments of your life that you share with us. Thank you again!
This concerto is godlike, hope I'll be able to play this at some point in my life. I think it's really interesting to watch an orchestra rehearsal, even as a piano beginner.
Excellent! I'm excited about your first in-person live performance also. Your instinct of not filming unfamiliar people or situations is bang on. Looking forward to the posting of the actual concert.
Thank you for your vlog. Your way of behaving on camera is relaxing, and encouraging. You work long and intensely on your art, and it is as if we viewers and you were all friends and part of your growth. As I think we are, we of the audience. I am grateful for the recordings and the videos you have shared, and I look forward to more of them. It's an interesting age now where it can be so normal for an artist to present so broadly online so much of themselves even in master classes. Thank you again.
You sound amazing with the orchestra which inspires me as a musician and it's wonderful to see you and the orchestral musicians performance astounding music that's so moving.
I really love these styles of vlogs Tiffany! They show an honest side of you as a human that I feel like most professional pianists don't really put out there. Thank you for the footage!
The way the conductor directs the band is really interesting but incredibly consistent and easy to read! Which as a musican myself (bass trombonist specifically) I can appreciate
Thank you for sharing Tiffany. As a trumpet player, I played this concert with a symphony orchestra in Stuttgart about 10 years ago. Hearing the different instrumentation during the rehearsal creates pleasant memories that you will never forget. I wish you success and happiness wherever you go. I'm certain, musicians will always enjoy your performance and sympathy.
I'm happy to live vicariously through you as it was a dream of mine to play this with an orchestra. Congratulations Tiffany on this huge and awesome honor to play one of the best concertos ever
Thank you for doing these - I just love the behind the scenes vlogs you do and getting ready. The piece you are playing is fantastic. Must be amazing to feel the vibration of all the instruments and be so close.
Wonderful, and very nice indeed. I lost count on how many times I replayed the segment where you rehearsed with the orchestra. Looking forward to your follow-up video. Thanks a million.
Seriously, you played that beautifully! The conductor was right! I get being critical of yourself because I'm the same way but the way you play just speaks to people! It speaks to me at least...
Always a nice experience when the notes to self over time become a potential " note on the cover of others books " ! . Note and question to myself today , having spent the last day analysing everything about my piano practice and habits in life , that may have led to a slight irritation/strain in back " dose it really matter what stool we use and the very innovation that the creation of piano stool is " . Looks like you had a great time Tiffany and what an amazing city you have seen .
this was balm for a soul. it seems to me that Brahms in general and Brahms' 1st piano concert in particular are relatively under appreciated. I adore them . It is very interesting to see what's going on in the life of a soloist that face this oh so beautiful piece. thank you!
You make everything twice as interesting and enjoyable! Please don't worry about yourself being "not good enough" or inconsistent, because whether you are inconsistently consistent or consistently inconsistent, everything you do is still meaningful! I really admire your determination to become better just for the sake of musicality. You bring life and inspiration to those around you. Keep striving!! 😂
I'm so glad I subscribed. Tiffany, though you didn't have to take time to make a youtube video, still you fit it into your schedule somehow. It's very therapeutic for me as a viewer to step outside my own life and view the world through your camera. It's not that I could hope to achieve the same musical feats, but it does inspire me that I can achieve great things in my life too.
This Brahms Concerto is one of my favorite piano concerto!!!! 😍😍😍 love ur Vlog which really inspires me to keep practicing~🤣 I’ll just go practice now!
Thank you very much for posting this look at the rehearsal. I could watch rehearsal videos for hours. I find the pre-performance interaction between conductor and players engrossing.
hearing the rehearsal in progress is so cool! It always helps me notice new things that I hadn't before so that I know what to look out for in a full recording with the whole orchestra. It's a very nice and satisfying way to learn more about the music and understand it better. Thank you so much Tiffany for showing us this part of the musical process! :)
I can empathise! When you're good at something, & you enjoy doing this, sometimes other factors come into play which can unnerve you. Such as when I did teacher training: I would get into my daily routine, cruising along, then came the "assessment". One or two "heads" would sit at the back of the room "weighing me up" during my lessons! This was emotional, psychological, on my part. It wouldn't bother me NOW, but it did back then!
Its amazing to see you practice with the orchestra, somehow i was nervous when the rehearsal started(as if i was also part of the rehearsal 😂) The vlog is really nice with the sceneries, i could almost feel the air and heat from the sun.
Talking yourself is really helpful for me and its become a habit, to the point that i just say my thoughts out loud randomly lol. Although, i try to avoid that when other people around ‘cause i’ll get looked at weirdly.
I honestly look forward to hearing you perform this concerto and seeing future vlogs, this concerto has a very special place in my heart so every time I hear it/see it, I feel all sorts! I play piano too and have performed the Emperor Concerto (just the 2nd movement- with an orchestra, I've learned the 3rd movement but wasn't able to perform it because it required a large orchestra which wasn't possible in my school due to covid, and I'm currently trying to learn the 1st movement- very difficult!) and I've always wanted to perform this concerto. This is definitely some inspiration for me. Good luck on your journey and again, I look forward to hearing you perform this! I'm sure you'll do sensationally well!
You and your vlogs are inspirational and delightful. You provide so much insight into your life as a professional concert pianist. Thank you and the rehearsal sounded great. 👏🎹

Tiffany; you're that word that fuses "humility, confidence, and beauty"
and also sausage and engine-bay
I feel privileged to have been able to "sit in" on the rehearsal. Thank you to all.

So great to get the insight on how a concert is prepared. Thank you for that!

such a natural and warm orchestra.
