Running Chest Rig - Is this one the BEST? For EDC Tactical Holster How to CCW while Running

  • Here is a Review of the most popular running chest rig I've found online and what they actually look like in person. To my surprise they were not what you would think or how the advertise them online with their photos and measurements. That's why I wanted to get my hands on them and see if they measured up to the Fitdom Tactical Rig I tested out earlier and have been using for a while.

    These two I've shown in this video are okay but I still think the one from Fitdom is overall my top pick. The one from MVRK and ASRV are probably good for just a running pack to carry essentials but not for any large type of "personal protection" device. If you wanted to carry a few items, first aid, cell phone, etc....then it will work. And the one from WYNEX Tactical is just waaaay too big. It would work for a great pack to have in the vehicle or to attach to something while traveling outdoors. But as a chest rig I think it's way to big and doesn't conform to your body like you'd want it to.

    I bought a generic version of this from China for around $30. Its really good for cardio and running. Holds my phone, workout gloves and handkerchief along with some money/credit card in case I need it. The build quality is not that great but for exercise I dont think they will fall apart quickly. Great review.

      Welp, you could always get your concealed permit, then conceal it in a cool running pack like one of these. Here in Nevada we have open carry but most firearm owners still prefer to have a concealed permit to not advertise your possession.

      The Fitdom one is the best overall. It is also adjustable but doesn’t have the side entry. So slipping it on could be where it’s a little tight. Maybe look at the MVRK chest pack also. It has adjustable straps on all 4 sides I believe.

    Great review, but as soon as you said, “let’s take the mag out.” I immediately knew this wasn’t the chest rig for me. If I pull out my firearm, I need to be able to use it at that moment… not 3-5 seconds later

    • @FortKnoxCo
      @FortKnoxCo  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah depending on which firearm platform you choose it may or may not fit 100%. I usually have the extended mags on most and in this case it took up just a little bit too much extra space.

      I believe so. I think it’s slightly smaller overall that the Glock I showed in the video. But I think I’d still recommend the FitDom chest pack overall. It’s a little bit bigger and just overall made for the purpose more

    • @AkiraFollower

    • @FortKnoxCo
      @FortKnoxCo  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AkiraFollower if you want to run/hike with it in your pocket you could definitely do that. But it would be very uncomfortable and somewhat insecure. Might as well just go with a small belt holster on inner waistband holster at that point. This pack is mainly to conceal and carry comfortably while hiking or running.
