Good suggestion. My guess is silicon products are safe; the other things, not. Would be nice to know though.
Single-use plastic water bottles would be another product worth featuring in a video. If harmful chemicals from them are detectable in people, a Dr Greger video on it could discourage people from buying them (or remind them not to) to prevent more plastic waste

I'm not certain that wood utensils are universally safe for cooking. Often they are coated with a finish to enhance their appearance and make them resistant to effects of heat and moisture. Even untreated/coated wood could possibly release chemicals into the food, depending on the species of wood used; especially species of wood from foreign countries, which are showing up with increasing frequency in our markets.
I haven't researched this concern as thoroughly as needed to be in a position to say that there is definitely a significant risk; consequently, I just use stainless steel utensils from trusted manufacturers.

I took a culinary class in high-school and learned the scary fact about the fumes I was so happily huffing. I tend to avoid them now as much as I can despite being made fun of for it. But sometimes I do cook with a plastic fork I quickly dip in and out.

I have never ever in my adult life used melamine or plastics in my home. It's all lead free glass and stainless steel for us. Not even ceramics or clay. No porcelain for us either, or wood (bacteria factor).

It is sad, that with this video (maybe others as well) a big advantage of nutritionfacts.org has gone. Where are original videos with *no speaker visible on a video*. Is it all pushed by brand marketing? In fact, what is the showing a speaker for, besides distraction? Value added is knowledge. Naturally, I am not talking about Q&A videos.
