I was just at a Micro Center where I live, and they had a wide assortment of custom builds for sale that utilized Lian Li cases. Very impressive builds. Great idea to use the white PCMR case for your video, Paul. It really showed up great on camera.
Computer cases sure have come a long way over the decades. Thermaltake used to be my favorite case until I discovered the Lian Li cases. For server cases, I still use Supermicro cases as well as Supermicro motherboards. So far I have never had any issues with any of the cases nor the Supermicro cases although I do need to mention that it did take me quite a while to figure out the settings on the backplane and the drive lights.
I just wish the front IO panel stuff can be upgraded easily on all cases. I have the OG O11D and wish I could upgrade to USB4 for example when it's out. The case is so well built physically I can use it for many builds, only issue is the IO gets older.
This is the first Lian Li case I've seen that I'm actually seriously considering buying for my next build. All their other cases are fine, but this one just hits more of the notes that I care about with it's flexibility and compatibility options.

@@sidsuspicious I just got the 011 Air Mini Last week and I'm not impressed. It was nearly impossible to screw in the pcie screws for my GPU, USB-C expansion card and video capture card because of how they recessed the pcie cover slots, infact I'm pretty sure I screwed in the screws crooked because I had to do it at such an extreme angle, even using a skinny shaft extension for my ifixit screwdriver. If using a ATX motherboard you can't install a 360 or 280 AIO on top, actually you can't install a 360 at all even if you are using matx or itx. If you do decide to go with a 280 AIO front mounted then you better make sure to position your tubes on the bottom because if you have them on the top then you can't install two 140mm exhaust fans up top, I had to go with two 120mm fans. Bottomline is I was really excited for this case and it's now just turned into making a bunch of compromises that overall made it a shitty experience to build in.
@@NonLegitNation2 Bro, see those perfurated covers secured by thumb screws right next to the PCIe covers? yeah, remove those and you get a straight shot on the screws that hold your GPU and add-in cards. Since building a new rig has become financially unfeasible for me and, honestly, a ton more people, upgrading my case might be the only thing I upgrade this coming year. This might be the next case I use.
I do not like the new fad of glass front panel and putting fans/radiators in the back panel. So not a case for me. Cool for others, but not for me. I do like a few of its features though. Like the motherboard tray.

Lian Li, nice case! Wanted: Performance version! I know you kinda have that with the O11 Dynamic, but it looks like you've made both some quality of life improvements to the design and some cost reduction measures. I like the QOL features, and the CR doesn't change anything for me, so, yeah, performance version please! I called it on the first second of the video that it'd either be Joe's or a giveaway. I wasn't expecting you to do both 😂 The case looks gorgeous, thank you for the great video as always, Paul!
Ive loved the 011 since it first came out. Since then i just havent been able to build a new system so i wasnt able to get an 011 before it became played out. However this particular version seems like the best iteration yet. So many neat little features that allow for so much flexibility. and honestly i love being able to show off my system so 3 virtually seamless glass panels is nice to see. and the all white version, which is what i would go with for a white and blue build, is awesome with the mostly white cables as well. Regardless if people think its played out or over done, you cant argue it really is a great case.
I still have a Super Flower knock off of a Lian Li case that has the removable motherboard tray. Got it nearly 20 years ago. The tray slides on rails out the back. The HDD cage is removable as well. Sadly, it only uses the old trusty 80mm fans.
Love the case but I wish it also came with a honeycomb top mesh so I could add a 360 AIO on top. Big fan of the removable motherboard tray and would like Lian Li to sell them separate that I could use to mod and make a case.
What's that? The MB is an x399 from 6 years ago last gen Threadripper. Still a proper upgrade with ram and and a highly threaded CPU that's prob way more affordable now used for an edit only rig. I guess we'll see soon.
Been brainstorming what I want for my upgrade next year when the next Intel socket comes out potentially. And I was originally leaning towards the NV7 for my case. This has changed that, I'm now leaning heavily towards the Vision.
i highly doubt it. the radiator+fans would need to clear the motherboard, then you also most likely need a vertical gpu bracket that sits higher than the usual ones.
I hope lian li update their case like the lian li o11 mini that compatible back connector especially for asus btf totally cable less and totally aio cable less all cable at the radiator area
