This channel is literally treasure as a non arab who wants to understand the quran deeply and experience different kind of feeling. Because sometimes the translation can't explain it all, and even when we learn arabic and understand the meaning, still its hard to reach this kind of lingustic level. @markward3981 well for a believer it is enough that The All-Knowing chose this language for His last revelation and described is as a "clear speech" . This is because Arabic is unique in have multiple words describing the same thing, with a slight difference. For example the word "love" have more than 20 words depending on what type/level of love.. and these are facts, though I don't care about facts when Allah SWT has spoken, it is enough for me..

@nickmansfield1 if you were to think that something bad is going to happen on like... friday the 13th just because of superstition then that's obviously haram

@@skrooplog4475 The worst thing that happened to me happened on Fri. 13th so maybe you are totally wrong. Numerology is not superstition. The video is not just about language here but numerology.

Wait so when a Hadith says “distance between the lobe of his ear and his shoulder is a journey of seven hundred years.” That could be taken literally but it could also simply just mean an absolute huge distance between his ear lobe and shoulder huh? Also when the Hadith says seven hundred years, what is a year in that context?

Obviously it doesn’t mean 700yrsrs as we calculate out years, we don’t even know the speed of travel because it isn’t referenced… it just to show the magnificence of God’s creation and how unimaginably huge these angels are

Hi, thank you for the wonderful contents you bring, I wanted to ask you a curiosity: I read somewhere, but perhaps I remember wrongly, that in Arabic the past can sometimes be used with the meaning of present. Is this true, or did I read it wrong?
I have another question: In 16:15, in what sense does God create rivers and paths to guide us? Is this the correct translation? Or can you grasp more nuances in Arabic? I cannot understand which paths God created. Aren't paths created by men?
    God bless you

Shaykh, I know this isn’t related, but I have a question on maad:
Is it permissible or okay to move the lips while making a maad or shaking the voice during maad like Yasser Al Dosari?

Brother, may I know what dialect of Arabic you speak which leads to the pronunciation of Quran as ‘Qur-anne’ rather than ‘Qur-un’? Thank you for your videos.

      Barak Allahu feekum brother,
The pronunciation of the word Quran is how you should pronounce when reciting the Quran. I explained why in this lesson: th-cam.com/video/SDUd_oeU1iM/w-d-xo.html&pp=gAQBiAQB
Other pronunciations could be used outside your recitation, but not within the Quran itself.
      barak Allahu feekum
