Fortynine Fort go check them out lol and then come back and tell me about competition in review, not saying this guys is bad or anything, but Fortynine Fort has the best camera angle and quality out there
Kawasaki needs to up their game in India in terms of marketing when compared to other brands..everything abt a kawasaki is good but they don't have great sales..
Sriman Kotaru : I gave the same feedback a couple of months ago to Kawasaki Showroom Manager in Bengaluru.. All he said was “people who eye Kawasaki buy Kawasaki” ! Perhaps he’s right to a large extent..
The service is very expensive and the frequency is high, not as high as the Benelli but still every 6 months! Triumph service is better tho it is expensive still
I happily own this bike 2018 version! Absolutely love it! All around great bike on so many levels. Plenty fast for me and I'll take comfort and reliability as a happy trade from max top speed any day.
Hey bro........what are your comments regarding the pillion seat and it's comfort levels. Can you take a pillion on this bike for a distance of 250-300 km
@@neerajchelat894 im sure it’s too late, but I can toss my hat in. I’ve gone about 140 miles with a passenger with very minimal discomfort on my 2019. For reference I am 6’1 210lbs and she is 5’6 115lbs
got this one in black and did a Bangalore to Goa trip on this.. It has changed my perception about superbikes, 11 hours of riding with plenty of breaks and photo shoots I was not one bit tired(pillion is a different story altogether) , and commute to office daily on this one in bumper to bumper traffic, This thing can take it all no issues whatsoever. The best way to ride this is in the midrange, plenty of torque, pulls up from any speed. Really quite and relaxed for long distance but when you need it, will surely surprise you. The most awesome part for me is still the brakes, they are just a beauty to work with, give me that much more confidence to push the bike. 140-150kmph cruising on open highways with a pillion ? no problem and the engine still has lot more punch to give. City roads, narrow streets or highways.. it just works everywhere, and the compact size helps in negotiating the traffic well. One thing that was a let down was the ground clearance, but you learn your way round it in few 100 kilometers.
Doesn't matter how many times I watched this video. I still feel like buying it from the day one Sagar reviewed it. You are such a great guy we want and we deserve. Please come back to PD or anything we want it
i was talking about the sv650 and the mt07. Both have the same engine category as the Ninja but unavailable for us Indians. (yeah, the z650 would have been the more ideal comparison as the rest are nakeds, but you get the point)
Aamir Khan of the all three i.e. Yamaha ,Suzuki and honda , honda have taken Indian market as granted since they sale so many bikes but they won't consider us worthy for even CBR 300
I think you guys are the best motorcycle reviewers in the world. I am not kidding here. I have been a petrol head ever since i can recall and I definitely belong to a car crazy family, so i know what i am talking about here. I love you guys.
I used to own the 2008 model, they have totally transformed the bike since the one I had! One big dislike was this, at lower revs the engine sounds more like a sewing machine. If kawasaki put a 800cc inline triple in this bike it would be awesome, performance and sound! Kawasaki have definitely nailed the styling 10/10. Great review guys, thanks.
Excellent review as always. Some drone shots were too wide though. Any insights as to whether the ER6n will go through similar weight reduction treatment? Thanks.
The ER has instead given way to Z650. (And yes, we will have that review up soon as well :D) PS: A huge Shout out to you Jaihindh for helping us with transcripts on our older videos! Pinning this comment!
Great review as usual lads! Setting the bar real high! PS: Nice meeting you at MMRT Sarge - during the RACR academy(thanks for the picture too ;)) Also, i think Kawasaki pulled this one out of nowhere! Plenty of things to be happy about!
I was confused between zx6r and the 650 and now i know what i need. The 650 is just so amazing! Zx6r is great but great bike on the fast tracks. Not for long journeys. The seating postion is amazing here
A decat with full exhaust system mod will shed even more weight! I am in love with this Motorcycle. Although I am not sure why they got rid of the touring handle bar and why the RVMs are on teh fariing and not on the handlebars. How was teh Rear View visibility?
I got my Ninja650 2017..tried the z650 too, almost same. Personal preference between a naked and faired motorcycle is all the difference there is.. nothing more. touring= ninja 650 (because of windscreen), city riding and weekend rides = z650. I wanted a touring bike so chose this. also the dash looks cooler on ninja 650 than on a z650, everything else is the same. you will save some money with the z650 which you can put in buying riding gear. Point to be noted.. ground clearance is low, you will definitely scrape the exhaust on both.. no escaping that.. enough power and enough fun on both, picks up speed quickly, stops equally good. if switching from a smaller bike.. mind the weight
A lot better and the best review of ninja 650 so far. waited so long for it and was justified till my heart content. Thank you power drift. Can't expect a less from you coz expectations are always high. No one does it better the way you do.
I was waiting for this review from a very long time and now its hear. great review thanks power drift and please do not take to much time to give review keep up the good work
Rishab Sachdeva they are leagues apart. the ninja has a parallel twin engine whereas the cbr has an inline 4. the online thing common between them is the gross displacement
they are in the same category bro...the number of cylinders dont matter that much as the tuning of the vehicle does. Take the triumph daytona 675R for example. It has 3 cylinder engine but produces 126bhp whereas your 4 cylinder cbr produces 84bhp. There are a lot of things you need to take into account like rake size, bore size, no. of strokes, exhaust type(free flow exhaust can boost power for fuel injected bikes) etc. The CBR and Ninja belong to the same category since they have similar performance figures, similar enigne displacement, similar top speed. The Ninja has more torque and is 22kgs lighter too. The CBR on the other hand makes about 20 bhp more but much more heavy. nandan choudhury, get your facts straight before you make a comment like that.
@santanu nanda wow, where did that come from. sorry if I upset you but the number of cylinders was in reference to the refinement, if wasn't obvious, as in four cylinders power is delivered in all four strokes. And yes I am as interested as you in having a comparison being done but 20bhp difference in not something you overcome by losing a few kilos, moreover even the torque difference is not that much, 63 on the honda and 65 on the kawi. Given all this I never never mentioned the daytona and also mods (free flow exhausts etc.) are out of the question since the comparison is between stock bikes. Go have a beer or something and chill down a notch will ya.
Well my comment was regarding the fact that you stated that the bikes are leagues apart which isn't true. And as for the comparison the honda is 1.8 lacs more expensive which also is a factor. Because if it isn't then just go for the daytona. And the 20bhp difference may seem a lot on paper, but you won't notice it at all unless you are on a straight in a track. Both the bikes are pretty closely matched but the kawasaki is way more value for money and better in the city as well.
Heyy Bros It was an awesome video!! you guys are doing a very great job and I request you to please do a comparison review between new ninja 650 and cbr 650.I love both these bikes and one day surely i will buy one of them.please help me by doing a great review as you all always do :-)
PowerDrift ya sagar please do it . It's the wish of many people here . It will be a tough competition and a cherry on ice cream to watch it in your way.
the ninja 650 has a parallel twin engine but the cbr650f has an inline 4 motor. The cbr is gonna dance circles around the ninja and also be much much more refined
Excellent review Sarge. Not sure if any sales person from the company knows as much detail about the bike or ever will. Your passion for motorcycles is truly awe inspiring.

whoot whoot, my dreams of Z900 just changed it's course to Ninja 650. Powerdrift makes me change my mind on every review. Sgt. Sagar what a ride as always, can't test it better than you...
Few of these have now started coming in to the used bike market for 4-4.2 lakh, which makes me wonder the value-for-money of the most value for money bike of the past decade, the 390 Duke. Especially, given the new 390's 3.7 lakh rupee on road price tag here in Pune
A well reviewed video. Power drift you guys are taking bike reviewing to great standards. Like your cam work too. Would like to hear more of the bike sound rather than the music, but still happy as the music didnt dominate
Wow what a great review, and just got my 2018 this week replacing my CBR500R which was destroyed in a warehouse fire in December. Was going to get the CBR650F until I got the Ninja for almost $2000 Canadian dollars less. No brainer for me. Even though it has about 20HP less than the Honda, it's almost about 40 pounds lighter and ABS as standard.
Subscribed! As a Z250SL rider, this could be the my next bike and this review is the best one I've ever watched comparison to other Ninja 650 reviews. Thanks mate!
Just what i was waiting for. 2017 Ninja looks awesome in a way it looks like ZX10r. And kudos for massive weight reduction. And looks just perfect. Now, i am waiting for Z650 ;) ...
Dude you ain't got no competition in reviewing bikes! You are just way too awesome! Powerdrift cha naad karaychya nai rao!😎

Arena Biker - exactly. I bought the 200 ns, the ninja 300 and finally the Daytona 675r all after watching powerdrift reviews. :D

Karthik DK : He can’t digest a Kawasaki H2R though 😀
It's not that good. Expensive service and spares along with shit aftersales support.
The service is very expensive and the frequency is high, not as high as the Benelli but still every 6 months! Triumph service is better tho it is expensive still
at least they have a PROPER tachometer. No digital lights can replace the feel of a physical needle to communicate with your bike
Wow you guys deserve a international stage for a review like this!!!
Thank you so much for the kind words Dev! :D We really appreciate it. :D
Now this is what i call a review , perfect balance of Information and cinematic shots.
Earlier videos didn't have much information
I m going to buy this bike one day NO MATTER WHAT!

love the Aerial shots! the cinematography is so much better compared to the last few videos! great work!
when your are in Coimbatore give us a headsup we will have the pleasure of watching u guys do the review in flesh.😁✌👍

I cannot ask anything better! ABS, Slipper Clutch, 6L Price tag! Just perfecto IMO
Few of these have now started coming in to the used bike market for 4-4.2 lakh, which makes me wonder the value-for-money of the most value for money bike of the past decade, the 390 Duke. Especially, given the new 390's 3.7 lakh rupee on road price tag here in Pune
