@@jimkaregeannes9002 Hey Jim! I am, at a very very small scale. I have ~10 very young plants, and there are some semi-wild Camellia sinensis plants growing in a nearby nature preserve (I know the owners; they're cool with a little picking as long as I share the tea :). I was able to make some white tea (~10 grams after drying lol!) and a larger batch of a roasty oolong (a delicious and very sweet failed attempt at making black tea!). This is my first year harvesting and processing. Are you making tea in NC? I'm fairly close to the border (~60 minute south of Charlotte)
Mahalo William for sharing your process. Rainy here most of the year, I feel your challenge. So right on in all the details you share. Our first flush so late this year. Aloha from Volcano, HI Eva
Reddened Puerh is my favourite. The reddening just rounds off the edges and make it more pleasant but still keeps the majority of the fresh and floral notes and aromas as well as character and power. So imho it beats Shu by miles and for daily drinking also Sheng. But it’s a rarity - so thank you William for catering to your customers fancies 😊
Fantastic video. The narrative of checking on the different processes really worked well I thought to progress the video, would likely remind American viewers of Mr. Rogers. It would be interesting to have your take on the effect of blending vs. the effect on a given year's terroir in terms of your Gulan blend. I have noticed differences between the years and I am curious how much to the best of your recollection that differences maybe a result of your processing skill improving, blending ratios, and the uniqueness of each year's product due to weather, etc.
Great video! I really enjoy seeing the process of how the tea is made. I drank some 2022 Jimgmai Gulan as I watched today, it's delicious as always and has aged nicely over 2 years. I'm looking forward to trying this years!
Seems there is an increased activity of the camera angle 人 (person). Noticed and appreciated normally we don't teleport :P and here we had dynamics very good. while not necessary conveys the story of the locale I feel. As always Tea and its provenance a great combo. good work!

I am sure that making this “day in the life” format of video is labour intensive, but it is a real treat for viewers!
Wonderful video 👏 Thank you for letting us tag along with you. Really fun to see your space. ❤
6:00 I've been wondering who William's hair style reminds me of. This side to side comparison finally made it dawn upon me.
Lovely video! Thank you William for sharing your passion, yet again.
Best tea videos on the internet. Thanks as always, William. - Chris from South Carolina, USA
Hey Chris, curious - are you making tea in SC? (I'm in NC)

Normal people don't teleport but I was blessed with superpowers (I am batman, this channel is just a side gig).
@@farmerleaf61 but the camera tells a story of movement, static shot to short would be true teleportation :)
at 10:30 do you sell this tea on your site?

Love the Mao art on the wall. Interested in the high oxidized puer when the time comes :)
The Dear Leader is looking over the harvest... this is what makes our tea special
@@farmerleaf61 I always knew there was a reason it was extra good
Is this as good as Lipton tea?
I'm working hard on it, I hope I can reach that quality!
