    How do you get the front grill like that.

    • @NorthCoastWorkshop
      @NorthCoastWorkshop  ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you mean the Cupra style badge? The one in the video is from a UK company called LaserArt. But I now have new badges from a European company PP3D, which I briefly show and mention in my most recent video on the channel.

    Hello! How you doin?
    I've got a question hope you can help me out. I'm thinking about putting a intake open air filter. Something like a MST Performance filter.
    But you also hear bad things about a open air filter. It sucks hot air and not cold.
    Anyways, i want to do it for the sound.
    What do you think?
    What is your setup?
    Is it that bad? And what could happen if i would put a open air filter?
    Now i got one in a box.
    Thank you for responding.

    • @NorthCoastWorkshop

      I'm good cheers 👍🏻
      Loads of owners have open air filters in theirs, and there no serious issue TBH. As long as you're still getting cold air feed through the grill.
      Some owners have the heat shield which u can maybe buy separate aftermarket ones to go with ur new intake, but the shield never completely eliminate hot air once the bonnet is closed.
      I've a forge twintake air intake system, it should be in most of my vids where I show the engine bay, I had to feature it when removing it for my short shifter video 👍🏻
      And yeah it's good that it has all the noise and it's all enclosed, taking in only air from outside, the 2nd side bit does take in a bit of engine air.

    where did you get those cupra badges from? cant seem to find them anywhere for the mk2 cupras

    • @NorthCoastWorkshop
      @NorthCoastWorkshop  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The newest ones I have are from a company called PP3D, the ones in his video are from LaserArt which were cheaper.
      If u check the community tab on my TH-cam channel, there's a post from 3 weeks ago that shows the new PP3D badges Vs the older LaserArt ones 👍🏻

    hahaha that moaning in the begining xD gread video mate, i might get an upgrade too right after i get it to start again xD. the sound in these are kinda on low end so an upgrade would do these cars a justice :D

    • @NorthCoastWorkshop
      @NorthCoastWorkshop  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well these are definitely a step up in sound compared to cheaper smaller or standard horns.
      And yeah, you have bigger fish to fry sadly ☹️ but hopefully u get the starting issues all sorted soon 🤞🏻 cheers

    Hi love your content? Quick question can I fit a radiator (radpack) from a diesel Leon mk2 to a cupra mk2 or I have to get same radiator?? I know it’s a silly question but just looking for an answer

    • @NorthCoastWorkshop
      @NorthCoastWorkshop  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Glad u enjoy the vids 😊👍🏻
      I'm not 100% sure, but from what I've seen on the link I've attached, the 2.0 litre diesel and petrol engines share the same radiator, but different radiators for the 1.6, 1.9 diesels and 1.2, 14 petrols.
      Have a quick look to see which one your car is similar too

    Do you know if there is an easier way to acces both horns if you just want to replace them at their current location? Can you get to them through the fog lights? Thanks!

    • @NorthCoastWorkshop
      @NorthCoastWorkshop  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hey there,
      So for my design of bumper if I remove the front black trim from the fog lights there is yet more moulded yellow bumper in behind it and the hole from removing the fog lights isn't big either.
      As much as it is a pain to get the bumper off, you'll find you save plenty of time because you will get clear access to both horns without anything in the way at all.
      Front bumper removal is, take out the screws attaching the under tray to the bumper,
      wheel arch bits - some torx in each of the wheel arch liners,
      a plastic bracket on each side,
      I believe a screw which goes upwards from the bumper into the front wing
      Then your 4 screws along the top once the bonnet has been opened.
      Gently prise the bumper off the wings as there is plastic tabs which can sometimes be brittle.

      Thanks, but not the answer i was hoping for 🥲. I’m afraid i have the same bumper (Cupra R facelift). One side looks maybe possible while the other not so much. Will try anyways if i can make it work the easy way haha, otherwise whole bumper will be next. Thanks for the answer!

      No probs, yeah sorry it's gonna be awkward. Best of luck mate 🤞🏻

    • @Pinonai

      Thanks for the advice mate! The left side one was doable with a lot of fiddling through the fog ligt. The right side was completely impossible though. So i had to take off the bumper anyways. But i managed with only taking off the fog lights. All the other connectors could stay on. Replaced the horns and reinstalled the bumper. Everything works great now. Thanks again for the advice and your channel as a whole, keep up the good work! Cheers from a fellow Cupra lover.
