I have gone to that library to research api refugee acculturation studies. It was helpful I remember to see what people thought of api refugees in the 60s and on. Please keep it open!
He makes wonderful points and it should be preserved but no one takes these courses, many schools are getting rid of these types of majors because the truth is there aren't good career opportunities, other than say the job Guitierez has. Maybe the main library should have a section just for these books. As for repeating history, there's nothing wrong with repeating the good things. These kids have no problem using phones powered by child slaves, ignoring the history they believe shouldn't be repeated. Budget cuts are also a direct consequence of the policies the liberals they elected impose. The economy is in shambles and will only get worse.
That happened to a couple of libraries at my university. They rather use that highly needed space for something else and leave the main libraries and the science ones
