I use FP insoles in some shoes. Mostly slip-on Vans without the Pop Cush. I keep the new Cloudy Cush insole in Last Resort shoes. I've been following Christian's process of developing those insoles and I know he had rejected many prototypes so I guess this final product must be good.
I’ve had FP which I really like, but it’s hard to get them in my size (10-10.5) but I’ve been using Old Bones’ insoles and I absolutely love them. I just got their new version and I can’t stop using them.
@@hellocat5689 ahahahaha!! We were on a euro trip and I only had dunks…. I learned to never do that again lol need me insoles or walking shoes next time haha
I bought a pair of these and they feel awesome under my feet. I'm 40 and got back on a skate about a year ago for the first time in 2 decades. My feet and my knees ached so much. Old bones knee sleeves were a God send for the knees and insoles are a must for me. Unfourtunaly for me these insole don't really compress in my shoe much and in all 3 pairs of my skate shoes the thickness of them make my shoes way to tight on my toes (never had that problem with an insole before so not sure why i am with these) and after about 15 min my big toes hurt like hell. I'm worried if I buy a half size bigger shoe that the shoe will be too big then. So Unfourtunaly it was a waste of money for me. The laces how ever I absolutely love.
@@viracocha03 yeah I can see the shoe being a lil tight. My plan is to slim the sides of insoles down and see if I can make it fit better. But I’ll def use these for the long walks n stands lol and yee the laces are super worth it!
I really like the dunk insole but I swapped em out for these. My true-to-size was too tight with the original insole. I also put the dunk insole in another shoe that really needed it, so it was a win-win. Pros: they are very comfy insoles Cons:don't wear with white socks
I've been running FP insoles cause I like thin shoes and have bad knees. Even wearing Vans, I can skate a ton with the Footprint ones and not feel bad. The arch support is crucial IMO. The Gamechangers and the Kingfoams both work for me without giving up board feel.
It's like a memory foam with some rebound to it like rubber or pu and then gel on top. It seems to work as good as the poron/zoom-air-unit to me. Categorically compares to a dunk insole, but it takes a different approach.
I think the purple material gets softer and breaks in like you said! I don't think it would leave a footprint, it probably has good memory characteristics.
I think upgrading to insoles is worth it. Stock insoles for me just get blown out way easier than customs. And stacking insoles is pretty bad for your feet lol
Want to try out my 46 years old knees after a life of ice hockey, skateboarding and MX racing!? I have insoles made of clouds, sainted souls and sunshine and my knees still hurt like 🤬😭.. Age actually sucks
I concur with the first comment, they are great but they are a. super heavy and b. way too thick where especially the 1010s they move your ankle/heel into the wrong place for the heel pods to work right. They worked in my joslins overall but they still raised my ankle a bit to much, they should have a little thinner version for shoes that already have the impact protection. they do that heel pop out for sure in the 1010s
Do you use insoles? If so what kind?

@@tonyvolume666 Unfortunately they don't sell Old Bones here in Spain and the shipping is not worth it.
@@tonyvolume666 FP are super easy to find in 10.5 I have 3 pairs and you can order them on most skate shop sites right now or even amazon
Spencer officially joined the old man club, now that he gets excited about the idea of wearing insoles on a long walk. Welcome brother.

I went thru 3 país of sucius and kept the insoles, they are so so good!

What's the name of the insoles?
@@yungtragedy9840 The name and where to get these insoles is in the description. They are made by Xtendedwear/ Christian Flores.
I’ve been using a pair of fp insoles for 3 years now. Best decision I’ve ever made. I even bought a second pair just for my walking shoes.
There are so many skaters that switching over to the other shoe and feels comfortable to skating in a good condition

FP insoles only, absolute game changer for vulk skaters
