His only D1 offer was Austin Peay and he ended up going to Rhodes. What I have to say from all that is it’s about the competition. If we had been playing public school ball, I wouldn’t have been averaging a double double and Jared wouldn’t have averaged over 30 for 5 years.

I went to a high school like this. I was point guard for 12pt per game, but there was a kid Jared Hoskins who scored 5k on his high school career and he would have demolished this kid. His only D1 offer was Austin Peay and he ended up going to Rhodes. What I have to say from all that is it’s about the competition. If we had been playing public school ball, I wouldn’t have been averaging a double double and Jared wouldn’t have averaged over 30 for 5 years.
