That bit in the beginning where Gandalf is reading from "Tolkien" about Sauron's goo reincarnation is some of your best work! Some of it was like Alex's narration in Clockwork Orange! Can't believe you are getting up towards a million subs.. GOT seems like yesterday. Great work!

I've been rewatching this a view timesand Have to say this: I really appreciate the work you put into season two! These small comments you drop about the booklore, shows how much you prepared for season two. I am still amazed, how a parody done by one man in his home flat (not trying to play down the work you put in, which was clearly a lot) can feel so much more authentic than the one with the billion dollar budget.
I'm glad we finally know about the staff. I hope Amazon doesn't skip the bit in season 3 where all the wizards get together and create a staff-Voltron to defeat a dragon that is guarding their robes.
This is the only thing that truly redeems this series on Amazon. They seriously need to pay you a cut of that sweet billion because you're the only reason I can think of to watch this trashy rubbish. Any deep fake haters need to watch this. Great use of tech and combined with Charlie's spot on impressions its an imersive experience, when binging these videos i totally feel like its the actual characters.
Charlie - i have an idea - I let this run as background noise like I do with the short ones sometimes anyway - and I heard you ask us to do that if we could - so that works out either way - but on these full comps - maybe throw in some bonus stuff every few minutes as an incentive to watch (rewatch) these - would make it better for us and give it more replay value
or stop re releasing content across all your channels and put out some new content that you have on your patreon to keep viewers interested instead? its better than literally asking people to play your videos, you should of been way over a million subs ages ago before you went onthis patreon sidequest and ruined it, i know others who also dont even click your new videos anymore as its usually a re release with a different thumbnail and title, your views dropped loads as you were getting millions before, this content is absolute gold and you are throwing it down the toilet all for a few quid on patreon it doesnt make sense, ive been a sub for way over a year now i am a huge fan so its sad to see your intentions are completely money related
This is the only way to watch Rings Of Power. Charlie really helped get me through the pain of season 1. For season 2 he is for the laughs. His Tom Bombadil makes me howl. I was hoping that Mr Grizzy would also be posting his anti-shill videos, but apparently Amazon isn't paying for shills anymore.

I feel like that risks being offensive or disrespectful. These are fictional characters. And the humor comes from his subverting their characters, is he supposed to play Tolkien straight? If he changes him to make him funny he's probably showing him negatively, if he plays the part straight then he's just appearing to represent a great author who is no longer alive. It seems inadvisable to me. That and what do you base the character on? The short bits of interviews he did? All I know is that people think it's messed up when they used CGI to put Tarkin and Leia back into Star Wars after the actors died.
Now that we got the single combined video, I listened and partially watched all of it again and I ve say that I really enjoyed this. I will never watch S2 because S1 made me start skipping forward all the time to escape the pain of shitty dialogs and forced "epicness" but this review fills me with joy always
