Excellent study you helped enlightened me about the correct counting of the people. Profound linking with exodus. However, I was hoping you would address the 7 years famine vs 3 year famine in 1 chronicles 21:12. This also is not a contradiction. 2 Samuel 21:1
Correct, it is an easy explanation: The 7 years mentioned in Chronicles is including the preceding 3 years of famine brought about by Saul's treatment of the Gibeonites (see 2 Sam. 21:1). David's numbering of the people was almost a year-long process (see 2 Samuel 24:1-7). Thus, the 7 years of Chronicles is including the 3 years prior to the option (of 1 Chronicles 21:11,12), the year of option, and the 3 years following. No contradiction. Well worth noting. Many thanks!
Just loved going through the books of Samuel 1&2,such a great King and a great lesson of how we are bought with a great price, God gave his son as a random for us,such mercy and love💗🙏🇬🇧 Thanks Stephen just re learned so much, always something new in the bible🙏🙏🙏
I just came across your Bible teaching. Glory to God!!! I have learned soo much!! Please continue to teach Gods word. The anointing is on you. THANK YOU
25:59 I stumbled across your channel a couple of months ago. I know it takes A LOT of work to put these videos together. I like reading through the chapters in the Bible first and then watching the corresponding videos that you do. It's really helpful how you explain everything along with the additional context that you provide. Great work!
I thank God for your teaching and making this study easier to understand. The Holy Spirit is marvelous and amazing as He has guided you into descerning the scriptures within this story of David. Praise God.
Your not with us if you remain in your church of lies. if you read the bible then you would leave unless you are more loyal to a set of man made traditions that contradict the bible. Stop believing what your priest say and read His Word ok?
The translation "evil" is referring to the calamity brought up on the people, not the moral evil we associate with the word. The verse simply means that God changed his mind about allowing any further calamity to transpire
I am not an official pastor of any church, I only teach. I know many good pastors however and it seems to be a tough job; not something I desire, only if God opened that door would I ever walk through it.
Just stumbled upon this video when searching David's 30. I'm really thankful that I did. I look forward to watching your other videos. I'm curious about the Tatoos and I'm really curious why you started making these videos and how you got started. Anyhow, I'm glad to see this online
From what I gather, only the Anakim were a specific race mentioned to be giants (the descendants of Anak), though there were of course many more. There were Canaanites, Amorites, the Girgashites, the Hittites, the Hivites, the Jebusites and the Perizzites; giants may have been among all of them, (as Goliath was found in Gath, with the Philistines), but we're not given much detail beyond those specifically noted in the Scriptures. I believe this to be a decent summary, but I have likely forgotten other details which could be useful. Many thanks & God bless.
@@EyesLikeFire thank you and GOD bless. One more thing……. Do you think or believe any of the Nephilim were capable of salvation? I always wondered if any truly repented. I know of the one who FLEW to see Enoch and asked him to speak to GOD on their behalf due to the terrible dreams they had. I believe all of us are going to be very surprised of what we are going to see in Heaven as far as other created beings of GOD.
@@chasmatteo I absolutely believe that any and all people (excluding fallen angels) have a chance to repent. One's parents have no bearing on the person's soul. This is my belief. Lord bless u and urs.
Stephen how do you keep all of that straight in your head? There are so many names and i know each one is indeed important because of lineage....but dang!
@@EyesLikeFire Also, views on who 'incited' David to take the census, in 2 Samuel 24? Can we discuss this? Was it Jehovah, or Satan? I am, unclear, on that. And also... knowing ahead of time, what the likely outcome... would be? Up to 2 Samuel 24:16...

Much food for thought.
It helps to explain much much more than the good book of Samuel.
Keep up the Good Work!
Great job brother 👏 👍 🙌 🙏 ❤

Great explanation brother to rule with the fear of God is so logic and real thats why all leaders today fail

Amen brother. King James only.🙏
RVR1960 is the equivalent but in Spanish so guess that I'm saved in that case haha.
May God Bless You
This is great. Thank you brother
I love this study! People don't read the scriptures with Holy Spirit.
Well done on the names. To hear me read them off you would think I was completely illiterate. Good stuff man.
Thanks brother. I enjoyed your Bible study and subscribed 👍
4:10 I like what you said there. It’s true. And it’s also sad to see that when those people get high up there, they turn to sin and backslide

Excellent comparison of II Sam and I Chr!
I'm glad I found you brother GOD BLESS YOU

Could you explain vs 16, where it says, "The Lord repented him of the evil," I am a believer.

Are you the pastor of a church anywhere? You would make an excellent pastor if that is the Lord’s will for you. God bless you for these!

Great lesson. Weren’t all the ‘Ites’ of bible giants?

My thoughts exactly. I’m not very good at names either so I get confused sometimes 😅
Great stuff, brother.
Where did you find those photos you are referencing? Super cool.
We Google whatever the subject matter pertains to and find the most suitable images for the particular verse. Thanks for watching!
